Very useful device. I purchased this when I was doing a lot of embedded systems design and troubleshooting. It was useful for scripting long-running tests withouth having to muck with hardware too much. The Python API is straightforward. One thing I might recommend is going for the device with a higher voltage tolerance; I regretted getting the lower-voltage version, because it's so common to need something a bit higher.

I used Labjack U3 models and finished quite few project with my students. Some times it is hard to load drivers and start interfaces but when you install drivers it is quite easy to use. I think the interface should be improved. In my opinion Labjack is one of the best performance/price products for the data accusations.

I have used a lot of Labjacks in school during my Ms and Ph.D. and for my startups too. Their equipment is great. You can find DAQs for all the budgets. I have used from the cheapest old model U12 all the way to the T7, but my favorite for its high ratio performance/price is the U3-HV. But I need to highlight that the best of Labjack company is its EXCELLENT customer support. I remember sending emails as early as 7 AM and late as 11 PM and, I don't know where they are located, but I have always received an answer in less than 1 hour. You guys are gonna probably read this, I only want to say thank you so much, you are great. I remember 2 people's names Toby and David, but I am pretty sure the rest of the team must also be equally fantastic!

Sorry. I used LabJack in some project which required a wired interface between a PC and my hardware but I have forgotten what I did with it. I've been retired from Stanford Linear Accelerator for ten years now. I do have fond memories of the unique capabilities of the LabJack.

Support helped me understand how feedbackArguments were sent to getFeedback() in python. Had struggled for some time, thinking I had to create new feedbackArguments every call, since I wanted to change state of u3.BitStateWrite(14, LCLsetting['SWactivLEDst']) output each time. Once I realized the setup did not need to be change, just change the ...LEDst, it saved cycle time in my call. Thanks!

Quick to ship, easy to setup and did everything as advertised! The scripting examples were extremely helpful and much more thorough and documented than many other competitors. For the price, ease of setup, component availability, and shipping time, five stars was easy!

Hey! I've used with LabJack products for a while now and they're working as intended. Their forum support is also great, they're answering to all your questions in little to no time and they're also very helpful. I'll definitely recommend them to anyone in need of equipment for projects about measuring something from a device with analog or digital outputs.

My experience with LabJack could not have been better. I needed extra channels for a project I was working on. My first stop was to their web site where I quickly found what I needed. I downloaded the associated documents which I perused for a day or two, then ordered. From the time I opened the package to being operational was about 15 minutes. I turned it on about a year ago and its been running ever since.

I have 2 u3-Hv's . One is used to monitor batteries during charging. The other is used to gather data while prototyping circuits. Both are over 5 years old and very reliable.

I have been using LabJack devices for many years now, mainly for small lab testing purposes. More recently we have been incorporating them into an array of radio telescopes for monitor and control and will eventually have 110 deployed. For this we use the T7 OEM version. The devices have so far proven very reliable and cost-effective. Mostly I use the Website for support, but in the few cases where I have needed further information the engineers at LabJack have been both prompt and helpful. An important aspect of LabJack is the careful control of versions so that code can be frozen at a given version or updated, based on good change information. The Modbus interface is robust, Lua scripting is useful (although limited in size), and the hardware accuracy excellent.

Very poor software available as in LabVIEW. Software integration is fundamental these days with all third parties software. The whole US university system uses LabView and when they graduate they take it with them .

The products were of the highest quality and functioned as advertised. The background support from both staff and web content was excellent. I must however do point out the lack of 3D models for the use in CAD modelling does require some attention to make this an all round excellent solution.

I am a novice user that needed a flexible and configurable platform to automate a few simple tasks and collect data from several sensors. LabJack offers a highly flexible a capable platform to do just that, along with absolutely top notch customer service. I was either able to find answers to my questions on the community support page or got a direct answer from a LabJack engineer. These devices have added a whole new dimension of capability to what I am able to do.

I use U6-pros with Python for DAQ. Multiple (20) projects over the last decade -they work great. Response from company, I think I've asked 2 questions, (I like email) is quick, concise and correct. For those complaining about the documentation, I say spend 1 hour "actually" reading the manual and you'll have no problems, EVERYTHING is documented. Good products, high accuracy. I'm still buying them. Tick-products are a bit expensive.

Very nice hardware implementation, easy to use. The screw terminals work well. Labview examples were of high quality and made incorporation into my code straight forward. Devices are capable of complex operations, that said, more simple example code VIs would be helpful.
