in 8 months, nothing was accomplished. My debt increased by 6k and I was taken to court by my ex husband. I tried to call and either no one is there, or they reject the call because my phone number was changed. This company is all about fees, fees and fees. Until they feel you have enough money, they will not start negotiating down your dept. I have been a client for 8 months!

They took $7000 in "misc fees"; They negotiated a $1300 credit debt for about $1200. They knew I had been summoned to court and made no attempt to help represent me nor any advice for a Summons response. They dont answer their phones. They dont answer emails. Their hands are in your pockets heavy and they will not do anything for you.

They told me they would take care of all of my debt within 6mos - 1 year. It has now been 1.5 years and they have only settled 2 out of 10 accounts.

After reading the reviews and also not being able to reach anyone at level one law. I have decided to withdraw my money. Now Since I can not reach anyone at level one law I reached out to Global Holdings who collects the money. They advised that they will be able to close the account and end the money back to me. Now whether level one law does something against me is a different question. But I rather get my money back than wait to get a hold of someone at level one. At this point a chapter 7 sounds like a better option.

We spoke with Ethan Bledsoe (likely not his real name) about setting up a consolidation/debt repayment service with LevelOneLaw. Despite the massive impact this mistake has had our lives, we have not received the promised services. We are out thousands of dollars and our credit score is far worse than it was when we started. We have tried to contact LevelOneLaw to no avail. Dangerous scam - please avoid! Bunch of Con Artists. I can't believe they do this to people. Made 6 payments, just over $5000 in total. Jan 12th they fall off the face of the earth. Spent 200+ hours trying to contact them, emails, phone calls on hold, etc. Have since filed a police report and been talking to an attorney. If anyone would like to join in a class-act lawsuit against these criminal scum, reach out to me. Email (can't put exact email in here, but replace the spacing and "at" with the actual email "at" LevelOneLawsuit at gmail.com At this point i will be going after them for my $5000, 200+ hours of my time wasted billed at a minimum of $50 per hour, as well as my cards late fees, and inconvenience/hardship. Not to mention legal fees. I will be sewing them for a minimum of $50000. Don't believe the "you signed a contract" crap. You signed a contract, for services not provided. No where in America will their argument hold up in court. File a police report. They will consider it "not criminal" since theres a contract, but the more bad reviews, and police reports that are saying the same consistent issue, the more it helps all of us. Seriously everyone, email me if you would like to persue a class-act lawsuit against these criminals! Levelonelawsuit at gmail.com

Don't fall for their unethical business practices. Our rep, Sam Bartner, (doubtful that's even his real name) sold us on their debt consolidation program by telling us there were no fees except for a small admin fee. I thought it was too good to be true but I was so desperate that I believed him and went through with it. After 8 months in the program nothing has been settled, I've been served with a lawsuit from one of my creditors, and even though we have paid them almost $11k there was only $4k in our "account" to pay off creditors when we cancelled the program. We now have no choice but to go bankrupt thanks to their deceitful and shady business model.

Wish I would have seen this sooner. This entity has an F rating on BBB and a 1.23 rating. Check BBB reviews for Level One Law Accreditation Revocation: On 12/05/2023 this business's accreditation in the BBB was revoked by the BBB's Board of Directors due to failure by the business to adhere to the BBB requirement that Accredited Businesses meet and abide by the following standards: 6. Sorry that I just now went to the BBB site. On here there were many positive reviews but I guess they were paid for! I called once to ask where my money was going and was told I could cancel my contract. At that point I had already paid them $7000 and nothing was happening with any of my accounts. At this point, one year after signing up, I have one account that has been negotiated. I have received a court summons that has to be answered in fifteen days. As of today it has been 10 days, I have heard nothing from them and guess I am going to have to go to court myself with no representation. I have spent 90 minutes so far today listening to "Hold on I'm coming". I guess this is supposed to be funny, but I am about to lose my home! Go to the BBB before sighing up! After writing this review, coincidently, someone answered the phone. A very nice lady reviewed the summons I had forwarded to them and said that a lawyer had not had time to review the paperwork yet and that I was essentially on my own. So I will go to court, with all my paperwork and hope for the leniency of the court.

Be careful with the company One Leve Law, they are scammers. Don't fall into that fraud, they did it to me. They told me I could consolidate my debts, and stupidly, I agreed to pay them $840 every 15 days. Seven months passed, and they hadn't done anything at all, not even a proposal for any of my 5 credit cards. I contacted them to tell them that since 7 months had passed with no progress, I wanted them to deduct $840.00 monthly instead of bi-weekly. They said no, that I had signed the program as it was and it couldn't be changed. But I hadn't received anything, not even a proposal. Long story short, I canceled, and out of $10,920.00, they only refunded $6,412.00. They stole over $4,000 for doing absolutely nothing. They are scammers, be careful not to get involved in their game. First, you receive a letter, then a call from someone named ALEX, and they rope you into the scam. The modus operandi of the criminal organization Level One Law: Do not fall for their scam. The scam by the criminal organization One Level Law: First, you receive a reconciliation email with a fake interest rate. Then, a scammer named Alex convinces you to reduce your debt from $48,000 to $15,000 by making payments, but they keep charging fees for doing nothing. For instance, from each biweekly payment of $840, they pocket $539, leaving only $300 for your cards. After 10 months of paying, they still haven't done anything with your cards. They hope you won't pay, so your cards sue, giving them time to collect money. This is how they operate."

I signed up with Level One Law back in December, 2022. Although they take a large portion of the monthly payment out up front, they did help me settle four of my smallest balance accounts. I added several thousand dollars to my dedicated account to speed up the process of settling with all of my creditors and spoke to several of the representatives, including one attorney, as to why I added those extra funds. Around November, 2023, I noticed that communication with Level One Law became more difficult (this appears to coincide with a major lawsuit against Strategic Financial Solutions and several of their partner companies. Level One law is listed as an affiliate of Strategic Financial Solutions on page 31 of the lawsuit). I would call in and wait on hold for over half an hour. I would generally be connected with a low level customer service agent with no real information about the status of any particular settlements. They would tell me that I needed to speak with the "litigation department" and they would transfer me. I would be on hold for an eternity just to be hung up on at the end or the call would go to voicemail. Nobody would ever get back to me. The same is true for emails and/or contact us requests that I sent out. Basically, since around November, 2023, the company is operating on a more questionable level (like level 1 out of 10). I received a summons from a debt collector and notified Level One right away. My account shows that this account is in "litigation" but three weeks later, the court still has not received a response from Level One on my behalf. Another creditor offered me a very reasonable repayment plan to me individually. I accepted this offer as I have lost most of my trust in Level One Law. When speaking with that creditor, they said that they never received any paperwork from Level One stating that they would be representing me for that account (even though that should have been sent out over a year before!!!). I requested to remove this account from Level One Law and lower my monthly payment in the program as I am making my own payments to this creditor. That was over a week ago and they still haven't removed the account from their program. I asked straight out to the customer service representative if Level One Law is still operating as usual even in spite of the pending legal action against them. She told me in her New Zealand accent that she wasn't "privy" to that information and that Level One Law is still in normal operations. I have not observed that to be the case for the past several months and have serious doubts that they have any kind of legal representation still in action on my behalf. Bottom line. Their customer service is terrible. Their business model appears to be falling apart and their truthfulness to what is going on behind the scenes is appallingly evasive. Better to avoid doing any kind of business with this company.

First, sort these reviews by "recent". As someone affected by Level One Law, I must caution others. This company is involved with Strategic Financial Consulting who is currently facing a massive lawsuit with multiple state attorney generals. Additionally, Level One Law charges fees upfront (for several months) before providing any services. If you are already involved with this company and reach someone, ask for escalations. Don't waste your time talking to a low-level customer service rep who can do nothing for your situation. To anyone considering this company, proceed with caution and explore alternatives because if you don't believe the recent reviews, look what the Better Business Bureau "BBB" says about Level One Law, "Accreditation Revocation: On 12/05/2023 this business's accreditation in the BBB was revoked by the BBB's Board of Directors due to failure by the business to adhere to the BBB requirement that Accredited Businesses meet and abide by the following standards... 6. Started the program back in May of '23. Over the next ten months, I sent them a little over $13000. This past month the decision was made to BK. I notified them that I wanted to terminate the program and of the $13000 that I had sent them, only $4100 was being returned. The rest, nearly 70% went to them for "fees". Not one of the creditors had settled. So what are all the "fees" for? Feels like I was totally scammed. Stay clear of "Level One Law".

I wish I could give them a zero. I started business with this company in May of 2023. I understand that the program takes time, but the communication is his horrific and they do not check in with you, which some people may think that's not mandatory, but it makes good business practice especially if you helping someone overcome debt. So definitely take the initiative to do so. This is something I lacked doing and when I finally did so, I was shocked to see the amount of fees they were taking. Let just say about 75% of the money I paid out to them went to fees. I immediately pulled out and just took yet another loss. I do take responsibility for not being as involved as I should have been but this is still no excuse for a. Company to scam customers. I'm sure they make a ton of money in fees and when you call customer service they are very nonchalant and can care less if you come or go. This country has gone to S**t. Anyways beware of your dealing with this company and before I forget, the lawyer I was assigned called me for an initial call and a month later called me and tried to do another initial call. I said you already called me and introduced yourself, she started laughing, that was more than likely my warning to run, I never heard from her again and I attempted to call her multiple times and left messages she never called back. Anyways be careful people.

They cannot deliver on the promises they require financial fee's to support. We were served by a creditor and L1L was unable to provide legal representation within the required timeframe. They asked that I request an extension with the state (this should be what the legal admin fees cover), they asked that I consider separate legal representation outside of L1L (this should be what the retainer $995 covered), and then they said that they would not refund any of my funds because all funds have been "properly allocated". So the thousands of dollars spent on a binding contract to have a legal representation on retainer and legal admin fees are not being upheld. We will be suing this company for financial hardship as well as putting us into further debt and ruining our credit score.

Don’t listen to all the bogus statements you read. There is a massive lawsuit against StratFS, the head of the snake of this company, that has multiple subsidiaries. Everything they say is not true and continue to prey on innocent people. Go watch the video of the research that was done by Ascend Finance on their YouTube channel. Look for the scam allegations video. Look for the link and you will see the $100 million lawsuit against them for never doing what they were paid for. Reach out to your state attorney general immediately and report them.
