Liberty Music PR's main aim is to empower and champion independent musicians around the world. Giving them full support with their releases - across digital PR, Tik Tok, radio plugging, playlisting optimization, whilst becoming an extension of their team.
I recently paid for press releases and a playlist promo with them. We initially had great communication and I was extremely pleased with the press releases (thanks Danielle) which lead to multiple "artist interviews". However they messed up the pre-save data royally! I ran my own ads and sent over 10,000 people to the pre-save link that LibertyMusicpr set up with Linkfire. I don't know exactly how Libertymusicpr messed this up but they were unable to retrieve ANY data (typically a .csv file) from the pre-save link that they had set up. So despite sending over 10,000 of my potential Spotify followers to the pre-save link, I didn't get ANY new followers on Spotify, I didn't get any pre-saves of my song and, I didn't capture any email addresses of 10,000 potential fans!!! If you're not familiar with how this is supposed to work, I'll explain. The pre-save link with Linkfire is supposed to capture email addresses as well as automatically have the pre-save clicks "heart" your song on Spotify AS WELL as automatically having them "follow" your band. None of this happened when I used LibertyMusicpr so despite my satisfaction with the press we received, I was extremely disappointed that my $1700 dollar campaign resulted in zero new followers, zero pre-saves of my song, and no emails for my marketing lists.
Use this company for my Spotify campaign - in result i got fake bot streams and got banned from Spotify
Great experience working with these guys over a couple of campaigns. Really seemed to care for the artist and communication was great in an industry where they could just take your money and run! They tailored the PR campaign according to what I needed and I received great results and updates!
AVOID THIS COMPANY! Do not use this company for playlist promotion. Extreamly poor value for money - nearly £1k for just a few thousand streams. Half of the playlists they use are ones they've made themselves. The others are playlists they've submitted to via playlists pitching websites which cost a few pounds to submit to not hundreds! I learnt the hard way, but save yourself hundreds of £'s and do it yourself. Submit hub is a good place to start. Communication with this company was extreamly poor, and they clearly do not care about their customers because I reached out to the directors and senior execs asking for a phone call on many occasions but I never heard from them! I was constantly chasing them for updates and progress reports. They falsely promote their services by sending you campaign examples from their archives showing song placements reaching 10s of thousands of streams. But it was very clear that they could not achieve the results they had promised. SIMPLY AVOID.
Left out KEY information at the start of the campaign which led to disappointment with the results. After making my opinion felt, a tiff with a member of staff and a complaint to head office ended with no compromise or resolvent sadly.
