Established in 1979, Longacres is a family-run group of six garden centres in the south east of England. Our flagship Bagshot store is the largest independent garden centre in the south of the country.
We've been selling online since 2002 and have two purpose-built warehouses for stock and packing.

Jan 19,2025Over the moon with my garden furniture set, top quality as expected from Longacres, ordered with easy on the website, I could of had my furniture delivered in a few days, but it wasn't convenient for me, so had it delivered free of charge the following week, it was delivered with care by two friendly, nice men, great experience with the best garden centre around, will definitely buy from them again, well done Longacres

The Wilderness Foundation
Jan 17,2025Longacres have been extremely generous donating compost to our charity, The Wilderness Foundation. We run a Community Allotment and a Community Garden and although we had plenty of seeds we had no compost to get them started in. I collected the bags from the local store (Chelmsford) and had a great chat with the manager whilst he advised me on the most appropriate compost for our requirements. As a customer who has used the store for my own gardening requirements in the past, I have always been pleased with the quality, range and price of their products. Thank you Longacres!

Jan 17,2025I love Longacres garden centres, but my trip to the Bourne Valley site was so bad I will never go there again. Or recommend to anyone to go there. The staff were completely unhelpful (they all appear to be children). I was ignored completely in the resturant. Trying to arrange a delivery was painstaking. I was advise the delivery would be the next morning and at gone 3 in the afternoon I was still waiting and had to call to get the delivery out to me before dark. Doing an in store order I got no help and stood there trying to order the item on my phone via your website. I could go on about how noone contacted me ect. But just shut the place down. It is literally a 10 minute drive from my home, but I would rather travel to Shepperton or Bagshot to get what I need & the help your customers deserve.
