Love Windows fitted 10 sash windows and a French door to our property in Bethnal Green, London. The windows were made to the wrong specification and the wrong design. The wood was not Accoya and the glass was supposed to be privacy glass but the windows were fitted with clear glass. They carried out the works over a weekend removing all the original windows in one go before checking that the new ones would fit. Every window was approximately 80mm too small for the window openings, but they installed them anyway and filled the surrounding gaps with expanding foam. Love Windows never returned to fit correct replacement windows, and to add insult to injury used a photograph of our house taken from a distance on Instagram as advertising. As the photo was taken at a distance you can't see the mess that they made - they destroyed the surrounding brickwork and render when removing the original windows and fitting the new windows. The French door they fitted was twisted. We were never refunded and had to remove all the windows and the French door and replace them using another supplier at a cost of 30K.

Originally given a good review as the ordering process was really good. Years on I believe the windows were fitted incorrectly, as the glass wobbles. Not sure what I can do unless I purchase new windows.

WARNING FOR ANYONE WHO HAD WINDOWS FITTED BY LOVEWINDOWS. We have started to get problem with these windows. Supposed to be 15 years Guarantee but Lovewindows now out of business. Lots of traffic noise and draughts from windows! Removed plastic strips they put on around the windows inside. Removed windowsill. Inspection show windows are in place but there is no expanding foam sealant between UPVC frame and wall. All they did was fixed windows in (hopefully?) and put bead of brown silicon round outside and white silicone inside. There are gaps under widow 15mm and 2mm all round. Not yet checked the top but suspect substantial gap as top corners have bricks missing where they removed original bay frame! The expanding foam if fitted not only stops draughts and noise, but helps to hold windows in. Please check your windows for above poor fitting!

I contacted Love Windows after seeing and ad on TV . The sales guy came a few days later. The sales guy was great showed samples gave all the talk and i paid a deposit. On the day for the survey to measure up I called to check the time thy were coming only to be told it wasnt booked in and they would call me back. They never called me back and i tried to contact them many times . When I did actually get someone that answered the phone they said they would call back. Needless to say they never did. They never responded to messages on the website contact or emails . After 4 months trying to sort this out I did get someone on the phone and they asked if I wanted to cancel and I said I did . I have never received my deposit back and as I paid by credit card I contacted the credit card company and I am still waiting for them to resolve the issue.Do not use this company its not worth it . How anyone had anything installed surprises me.

Avoid them like the plague. I have a CCJ issued against them and when I tried to mediate there response was 'LOL'. Their show room is non existent so bailiffs do not know where to go. Do not part with any of your money.

That last ‘good’ review is a load of b*llsh*t. They left us with sub standard shoddy workmanship with NO resolution. A bunch of cowboys!!!!! Don’t go anywhere near this lot, they’ll take your money, do a terrible job, walk away and not give a damn.

2nd review but please please please heed this. I have raised a CCJ against this company and the court has replied today to notify me that LOVE WINDOWS has gone BUST. They are no more. They are still advertising, they are still taking deposits, they are true and proper rogue traders, believe nothing they say. I am not bitter, this is genuine court instruction to confirm they are BUST. Find another company for your window replacement. Garry

Reading these myriad of complaints makes me realise that I am never going to get my window keys or guarantee either. I also suffered at the hands of these cowboys at first, with many things going wrong such as: broken glass puncturing a newly installed polycarbonate skylight, silicon walked into my new carpet and leaving me with a hole where a window should have been for three days, which meant that we couldn’t leave the house. All we got from the office was a list of excuses about putting them right. However, eventually after two weeks from the start date they finished the job. Therefore, I would like to thank the two guys Kevin and Ash who were sent to put things right and this slating about this company does not reflect on their work. It’s a wonder that any famous people would want to endorse this sham of a company.

Had love windows, come out for a price on 7 windows, paid a deposit of £876 on the 31 August 2018. Cash on completion. The surveyor came out a week later, measured up, and said we a pretty busy, because of the television advert, they will be fitted in about 4 weeks. September went by, October went by, November went by. Dozens and dozens of phone calls and emails were sent , BUT NO ONE ANSWERED THEM. So I put a bad review on Trustpilot. Titled con men. Within 1 hour of me doing the review, my phone went, love windows giving me a fitting date, in January 2019… Adam said, please could you do me a big favour and remove your review. So I did, I just wanted my windows fitted. The day before my fitting date, they phoned me to cancel, and asked could they fit them the week after. On the new fitting date. 3 young lads came, at 2pm to fit the windows. All 3 were great. They covered all the floors with sheets and a big rug near the front door. It's January so it goes dark early. They were working until 8pm in the dark with a spot light set up. Within 5 minutes off them finishing, Adam was on the phone about the final payment, which I paid in cash to the lads. Even gave the lads £10 each for the cleaning up they did. The windows look great, the quality looks good and they have made a massive difference in keeping the rooms warm and the street noise out. Now in May, the plastic trim is coming off on the outside. I have emailed them but I'm not expecting a reply, or anyone coming out. I will pay safestyle.uk to do it, when they do the back windows. We want to get all the windows at the back of the house done. But after all the hassle with love windows, we got out safestyle.uk. They said it's against building regulations, to take out fire exit windows and replace them with none fire exit windows. Have to replace like for like. Fensa wouldn't allow it full stop. Love windows couldn't care less, they ripped out all the fire exit windows and replaced them with none fire exit windows. I wish I would have known this beforehand. Don't hold your breath for the 15 year guarantee, I'm still waiting it, even after dozens off emails.

12 months on Windows not finished this company was set up to make directors money and rip off hard working people Cameron and adam are just con men they have no shame and don't care if your Windows are substandard no use taking them to court they have all ready drained all the money from the company maybe Cameron would like his details posted on this site and I won't use trustpilot for reviews again as most of love Windows are obviously lies that's the good ones I mean love Windows want to reply to this that's if your still trading scum

I got an estimate for new windows, signed the contract but decided not to go ahead at that stage, I telephoned and sent recorded delivery letter to them(which was returned to sender, as they obviously knew it was asking for a deposit refund!?)this was well within the correct time allowed for cancellation ie. 14 days. I requested refund of my deposit, after several phone calls regarding my requests my deposit was never returned. I had paid by credit card, and therefore phoned the credit card company who then dealt with the matter and thankfully I received my full deposit back.Thank goodness for credit cards Don't believe everything you see in t.v. adverts!

Terrible company. My elderly father ordered windows and doors. Paid 2500 deposit. They did not turn up on the arranged day of installation. Did not return any of our calls. So lucky my Father paid the deposit with visa card as he was able to do charge back. Reported this company to trading standards.

I paid my deposit and tried to contact them many times and eventually they got back to me. I said I wanted to cancel as I had lost confidence in then. I’ve not been given my deposit back. So, I rang them and left website messages to ask them to do the window as I couldn’t afford to loose £1550 deposit. Again frustrating as they haven’t got back to me yet again. My mum and I are pensioners and saved up for the new windows. It’s disgraceful

So they have taken my deposit, refused to let me pay by credit card, kept me hanging around for weeks, and now I can't contact them, their telephone number is currently suspended! And the rep is conveniently on holiday!
