Feb 05,2023Wow, where to begin? This service was so seamless and well managed. Saeed was a joy to work with on what might have otherwise been a stressful and baffling task. I felt completely taken care of every step of the way. What a lovely, lovely man - he could not have been more helpful, easy going, friendly, patient and professional. Saeed was recommended to me to help with the currency exchange for a property purchase in the Canaries. I hadn't a clue about that side of things and he took care of everything - he explained the service, timed the exchange of the currency in collaboration with me, and sent the funds on to the Spanish banks and lawyers in time for everything to happen. Everything went completely smoothly. As I understand it, the service works by analysing the currency markets and timing the exchange so as to get the optimal exchange rate. In addition to that the funds of small clients like me are combined with other larger clients' funds into a big bundle, which then benefits from an economy of scale. This gives two advantages over walking into a bank and just exchanging the funds as an individual. The market analysis saving is, I guess, the luck of the draw to some extent as no-one has a crystal ball, but the economy of scale saving is predicable and a dead cert that gives substantial savings. And, because of the magnitude of the saving, Magna Financial takes their cut of that so the service is free to the client. I'm not saying that's the proper and correct explanation, just my understanding. So, all things considered it's a win win for clients making smaller exchanges, for example for the purchase of a property. I would recommend working with Saeed without hesitation. Jan 31,2023I have to say that Saeed was great!!! We never used such a service before and having called quite a few, Saeed was spot on from the start. So many just want to sign you up without and indication of rate - but he was happy to give a ball park figure and explained it all clearly - that is the rate, no fees - we pay in £X and they pay out €Y. Simple!!! I got to the day that I had to commit - was holding out for a better rate and he was good enough to call me to say it had gone up - so done the deal!!! Would happily recommend to anyone.
