So amazing Always really helpful So many opportunities Would highly recommend
I got all my queries cleared in the Sunday Medicine conference
The team at Medic Mentor are doing a fantastic job, helping those who are at crossroads, in making sure they have insight for a career pathway that they may choose to pursue. I really appreciate that they took time from their day to help educate us, adding an extra hour, for a Q&A.. Thank you.
My daughter attended one of these conferences with me a few weeks ago. There was a hard sell that these classes are needed but my in-laws are GPs and said the courses weren’t needed. Nevertheless, we sat through the whole nonsense because my daughter wanted a certificate. I was visibly annoyed by the selling tactics. About thirty minutes before the end of the course, I went to use the bathroom. She was kicked out for “not having a parent in the room”. We wrote to the email given and they didn’t respond, wouldn’t let her back in. Really we were kicked out because I wasn’t going to pay £3500 for their course. She didn’t end up getting the certificate and all email have been ignored. She’s since figured out this is indeed a scam (check out the other trust pilot from their previous website.) The company is in administration. Do not bother to attend, it’s a scam and that’s why they had to make a new Trust Pilot. Edit: In response, I have filled in your contact for, for months now. No one has responded. I emailed support when I got kicked out as directed in your email giving me the links and what to do if you were kicked out. I have asked Medic Mentor on many platforms over the past three months to fix this and all were ignored until I posted this review.
Thank you so much for putting on these conferences. It has been one of the most helpful things. It was very insightful and all of the speakers were wonderful. I couldn’t recommend it more. Thank you for putting on these conferences they are brilliant.
Great experience with their first intro session. They did really well to explain all the complicated details for my son and he has now made up his mind.
It was really insightful and comprehensive, they gave a detailed explanation of the timeline for an application, however I feel some parts were a bit repetitive and also they could’ve included other forms of improving an application other than their paid courses
It was very interesting and it was an interactive session. Dr Siva and Dr Kennedy made it very enjoyable and were very patient with us.
It is a very good company which gives wonderful experiences nobody should miss it
Really educational and a great insight into medicine. I learnt a lot of interesting tips that I’m sure will help me with future applications
Outstanding sessions especially for people who don’t get support from college and people who can’t afford paying a lot of money for tutoring 😊😊
I loved it! Very educational and inspiring. I already knew i wanted go become a doctor but now its a need.
Firstly, I am very grateful to the Medic Mentor Team for allowing me to participate in the Get into Medicine Conference. I found it really insightful and prolific in terms of the plethora of advises, criticism for CVs and the great role models that presented their experience with Medic mentor and how they progressed into their dream career. The UCAT prep-talk was particularly useful and has given me the confidence that I can also do well and avoid hurdles by seeing past the challenges they present. Thank you once more to Dr Siva and Dr Kennedy, who took their time into deep explanations of how we can boost our medical knowledge and become well-rounded young medics.
Very good in terms of experiences and opportunities, eh VWEX etc. But, they advertise their platinum pathway way too much.
The hosts (Dr Siva and Dr Kennedy) were really patient and welcoming and created a light-hearted atmosphere. They were very supportive in our career options and provided very informative information and gave insightful feedback to students. I learnt a lot from them, not only what it takes to achieve high grades but good qualities in a Doctor. Furthermore, the scholars (Grace, Ashish and Ben) were very helpful and I enjoyed listening about their experiences at medical school. I particularly enjoyed listening to Grace's experience of taking her UCAT test and Summer school experience because I felt like I could relate to her. All in all, the programme was fun and I now have a better understanding of what options I could take to get into Medical school. Thanks, Medic Mentor! :)
Very useful for my son in Yr12 who would like to peruse career in medicine
Really informative and cleared everything up about work experience and volunteering, thank you!
The hosts were energetic and very passionate about the information they gave. There was a lot of details that I could not have gotten from school and teachers. Overall, the experience was very good.
There were so many useful information during the Conference that truly gave me an in depth insight into what is expected of those who are considering a career in healthcare. The mentors gave so many fascinating and insightful advice and gave me useful tips towards my next steps into producing a great application for my Personal statement. Lots of key steps towards progressing into medicine was shared such as how to strategically prepare for the UCAT, how to keep yourself informed about affairs revolving the NHS as well as how we can save it. Furthermore, the connections they had with young first year students at medical school, was a very reassuring and informative section of the Get Into Medicine Conference as I was able to truly understand the difficult journey ahead and how to come out as a successful applicant using their personal experiences and past challenges. During the conference, I was also able to engage in lots of activities with other young similar-minded students such as myself who are also in my position of considering a career in medicine, which was very comforting and enjoyable. I also loved the fact that their advice did not just end at the Conference but is also extended using the app Circle which is governed by Medic Mentor and so I can earn certificates each time I participate in medicine related events that Circle has to offer, which would look great on my Personal Statement. Overall, this programme was splendid and I hope to continue to attend more of Medic Mentor's Conferences.
