It was really insightful!
Good experience and kevel of debriefing for volunteers
It was great to experience all the different types of interviews. It was nice to practise the interviews and the feedback was so helpful! Erin and Sanshika were awesome!
Such kind interviewers and really gave me and insight into my own strengths and weaknesses!! All the mentors were so lovely as well!
So good - love sanshika and erin
Very well organized, very friendly staff and lots of information provided which could help us doctors with our future career goals.
There was so much helpful information, though I wish there was a way to increase time to ask questions or a place to leave questions
So helpful. Absolutely great info for everyone trying to get into medicine
The Get Into Medicine Conference made me so excited for my journey into medicine and it helped me get the amount of information that I needed. Dr Siva and Dr Kennedy were amazing and made the application process for medical school seem to be a thrilling and exciting experience instead of a boring and stressful process.
Was initially a little shocked to find out my entire Sunday lie-in would be taken away, but I ended up really enjoying the event. Lots of useful information conveyed in six hours, and it felt really inviting and welcoming. Would definitely recommend for any aspiring medical applicant!
The detailed level of information we were provided, an insight to the form of UCAT questions and how relaxed and collected the medical applicants seemed to be-it was reassuring and inspiring.
The get into medicine conference is a must attend if you want to be in the field of Medicine or even if you are still deciding what's right for you or if you want to get a fact check of where you stand in your preparation. not only do they tell you about what the things are that you need to have for a successful application to your desired med school, but they also give you options about how you can do them, and also their own free versions of WEX, wider reading meetings and many more. from alevels, UCATs, personal statements, work experience, publishing your own work in their magazine, extra curriculars, supra curriculars, they can help with every. and i am not even exaggerating at this point. just join the conference and checkout yourself. at first i was a bit lazy to join cuz i wasnt really sure if thats what i definitely wanna do but after this meeting i knew exactly what i was expecting from life if i pursue a career in medicine and it helped me a lot in making an important decision , i am highly impressed(which is a rare thing to happen) i would definitely recommend everyone to join this conference cuz it is worth it ! after attending this conference, now i have a clear view of what i see in near future. must attend!!!
I got to experience an entire session that explained every possible details that I would need in the future on what exact steps I need to take in order to become a future successful doctor.
the mentors of the day were super helpful and you tell they definitely wanted to help! didn't waste time and got right into it.
Dr Siva and Kennedy were great; very informative, kind, well spoken an friendly. My one issue was the length of the "Getting into medicine conference". However that can't really be changed with the amount of info conveyed during the 5 hours (6 hours including the breaks).
It was an incredibly useful session - they gave us so much guidance on what activities we need to do to improve our cv and how to write them in our personal statement. There was also plenty of time to ask questions making it such an invaluable experience - far better than anything we were told at school.
very useful and gives valuable information that i would’ve never gotten anywhere else
The conference was very useful and I recommend it to students even in year 10 or 11 as it helps students be proactive and start building the profile they need to achieve their goals. The provided information was very useful, the energy was fantastic. I highly recommend it for students and parents.
The conference was very informative and insightful, which made it easier for me to plan out my next steps as an aspiring doctor.
