Nov 04,2019The crew was organized and efficient. They worked very hard carrying heavy stuff up the stairs to our new apartment. The were on time. We would use them again in a heartbeat!

Oct 31,2019Good job, but I was surprised by the "fee" to remove the paper that you guys had charged us for initially. In addition some of the hardware that was needed to assemble our bed was missing. You did return a couple of days later to correct the problem.

Oct 30,2019Men on the move did a spectacular job with our move. Timely arrival, totally professional, extremely efficient. Conroy, the team lead, was as good at his job as anyone in that position could be - he was a pleasure to watch. Not a scratch on anything when we unpacked. The cost of the move was less than the estimate. (In fairness on that score we packed nearly 40 boxes ourselves and were ready to go as soon as they arrived.)

Oct 29,2019They where great packing up my house. Do not know if they got tired but delivery they where careless. Blankets they wrapped furniture in where dirty. So had to clean all my furniture. Dirt even got into dresser draws. They dented one file cabinet. One worker was saying “sorry the heavier file cabinet hit it”. The lead worker then walked in the room saying it was dented prior to the move. They banged most of the dent out. The could not carry a couch upstairs so they lifted it through a window. Problem was they laid the couch in the dirt instead of putting a blanket under it. I am thankful the got couch in house, however have care not to put it in dirt. Lead guy was very angry I wrote on receipt he got couch dirty. He went off saying he saved me time on the move and the damage is going to come out of his pay. He did not review any of the sign out documents with me. Would not give me time to fill put survey. The guys left abruptly without fully finishing. I left message on voicemail for company and they have not yet returned my phone call

Oct 29,2019These guys were top-notch, and as someone who was a mover for several years after my college years back in the 1970s, this is something I can speak of with some authority. They were extremely careful with all my furniture and not a single item suffered any damage plus they were were fast and efficient too! I don't believe you can do better than this.

They made a tense and stressful time as easy as possible and regardless of my requests continued to fulfill each of them quickly with all the help I could have hoped for. Thank you for once again for all your help.

Oct 19,2019I used this company bc of its many positive reviews. This was not the experience we had however. The men seemed to be intentionally move at a slow pace to drag out the allotted time and charge ya for additional hours (2). There were numerous pieces of furniture bumped, scratched and nicked because the men were not careful or had not fully wrapped everything. Despite everything being boxed and labeled ahead of time, upon arrival at the new location, boxes were placed in q completely disorganized way- not grouped together by room making it challenging to unpack and locate items. Overall, mediocre at best with the total coming in almost 2k over the estimate.

Oct 08,2019I'm at the final stages of our move to Fl from LI and awaiting my items which should be here next week. In the meantime I'd like to express how effortless this stressful and emotional process was for me using Men On The Move. From the start Harry Cohen put us at ease and made us feel everything was going to be handled professionally and efficiently. He was right! Even when I made calls back panicking about something, he was right back to me assuring everything was fine. All the way down to the correct size of the truck for not only the items I was moving with, but one that would be assessable in my narrow street and driveway. Winston, Chris and Eric were prompt, professional, respectful and neat with everything they did to prepare the furniture and belongings to place in the truck from the house in LI on moving day. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Men On The Move, or use again.

Oct 06,2019The Owner of “Men on the Move” (30 years in business) called me back personally to follow up on an email question I had....All within a couple hours. He was extremely professional and I was most impressed. His phone staff very courteous, the actual movers were prompt, on time, and extremely hard workers. Very fast!!! Packing, wrapping was very meticulous. The team operated like a well oiled machine. Price was very reasonable, and most importantly they don’t overcharge for men or man hours. My final amount payed, was less than my original estimate. All in all I would recommend them to anyone for any move, big or small, local or long distance. So glad I selected them. Tom Garden City NY

Sep 25,2019They are the best movers in the industry. All their competitors weren’t very trustworthy and seem like they’re running a scam. One competitor wanted a charge in blocks of four hours which seemed like potential to rob me blind. Another competitor wanted to weigh the truck to charge me. This firm was honest and upfront with the estimate and final costs. The crew was amazing. My stuff was treated very well. I would use them again and again in the future
