Feb 02,2019Men on the Move was recommended by my real estate agent when I sold my condo in 2017 and I was very impressed with my movers, Winston, Sonny and Eric. These guys were more like " gentlemen on the move." These guys were quick, careful, full of good advise and very funny. They made a stressful day much easier and treated my belongings like their own. They were exactly the same when I moved again. This time I requested the same movers as last time but a new mover named Mark replaced Eric and was just a wonderful as the rest of the crew. I have nothing but good praise for the men who make your company great and praise for your company as well. After last time I called my real estate agent to thank her for the recommendation and I have also recommended your company on 2 occasions. Keep up the good work! Jan 30,2019I used this company two weeks ago and was somewhat disappointed in the overall experience. I have moved many times in the past 35 years and for most of the moves, I used one company and i never had any issues. Since that company was no longer in business, they retired, I tried Men on the Move after getting a recommendation from a friend. The men were appropriate but seemed to be very slow. In my opinion it took at least a couple of hours more than it should have. One of the men had a great deal of difficulty walking. Apparently he had some leg or foot injury. My real disappointment was when the gentleman who set up the beds, scuffed up the walls at the head of the beds. He did it in both bedrooms. One of the rooms had a lot of scuff marks. I would think when he heard or felt the bed hit the wall, he would have moved the bed away from the wall so that it would not do further damage. I would also have thought that he would have not done it again, in the second bedroom. In addition, the men scratched the floor in the dining room. These issues were not big ones but disappointing never the less, since the house had just been painted and the floors were just refinished. The company listened to my concerns and sent me a form to fill out for the claim. I had my workmen here already, so I just had it fixed without waiting therefore I was unable to file a claim because I could not take pictures of the damage. The form was a little over the top and a nuisance. They wanted my social security number on the form!!! Why would they need my social security number!!
