Locum agencies quickly get in contact and Messly makes it very easy to arrange a call if you want to. Can see reviews for different agencies, which is helpful. And plenty of other good resources available on the website! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for locum work.

Sep 05,2022I had registered on Messly earlier but went offline for 6-7 months and recently made myself active again. The registration process is very easy. Uploading all documents at one place, makes it very easy to share them to different agencies. Although my agency needed me to send them again but some agencies didn't. It has feature to show which jobs are nearby, how far you need to travel and what hospital would you like to locum in. This is great, as previously you were at mercy of locum agency to find job near you but now after you give all your preferences, you choose whichever agency you want to work with and take things forward as per your requirement. App interface is very easy and they set up instant meeting and have inbuilt messenger, so you dont have to search into your inbox to find that email with agency. There is good digest of how to start as Locum and great articles on Locuming, money management etc. This makes medic's life a lot easy. You don't need A-Star agency or widespread one to register with but just the one which is right for the job. This platform is made centering on doctor's needs and no wonder the creators are themselves Doctors and know the scene. I would highly recommend this for international or Uk doctors who would like to undertake locum work for a while.

I felt confident with the agencies posting on there, and it took away all the extra work of having to search for agencies myself. Within days, I had recruiters getting in contact and have already secured a locum post. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to locum! Aug 26,2022Messly has clear instructions of what documents to prepare and upload so even if you choose not to find agency work through messly you will still have garnered all of the documents you will inevitably need. After you have set up your profile as "looking for work" it didnt take long for interested agents - if anything it was too successful and too daunting. I left it alone for some time, but unexpectedly I had several messages from Messly admins to ask how I was and if I needed support - and offered some small bits of advice and encouragement which I then picked up on. I since registered with an agency after discussing with 3/4 and Im about to complete a short placement at a new Hospital prior to finding longer term work in another city. Theres lots of paperwork afterwards to complete but I dont expect this would be much different with any other agencies. I had little success with local Bank work and LinkedIn just seemed more dubious. It helped that Messly has visible reviews - some of who I've met before so helped to be a bit more trusting and stick with Messly. Kamal

I am impressed with their service as the response of finding locum work is quite efficient. The best part of Messly service is that I registered with Messly and send the required documents online and all the different agencies can access those with my permission . This system is really helpful to avoid repeated registration with different agencies and sending the same documents. I would like to recommend the Messly platform for GP locum duties.
