Aug 26,2021I recently had clear lens eye replacement surgery. My right on on Friday 20 Aug 21 and left eye on Sunday 22 Aug 21. I would 100% recommend Midland Eye for such professional and empathetic care. I had full confidence in their first consultation with the Midland Eye team and my Consultant Mr Bruar. It is absolutely key that you speak with our Consultant who will be carrying out the operation. Nothing was too much trouble, he took his time to explain the steps leading towards surgery. I took on board his recommendations and options with full confidence. After all I only have 1 pair of eyes and they are very precious. I have better than 20:20 vision 5 days after surgery. Life changing and amazing, I can see without glasses near and far. Thank you Midland Eye and the fab team.

Apr 28,2020I have had double lens replacement, treatment for dry eye and follow-up laser treatment in both eyes. I also took part in a pilot research programme for dry eye treatment. The treatment has been excellent at every stage with thorough information and care throughout. Everything felt straightforward, well organised and I always felt fully informed and assured that the treatment was appropriate for me. Midland Eye was recommended by a relative and I would also thoroughly recommend the clinic. All the staff have been very efficient and the level of care is excellent.

Mar 17,2020From the very pleasant receptionist to the surgeon I could not fault Midland Eye the Nurses were very reassuring and although I was very ne the whole team were great . No rushing for you to leave lovely tea and biscuits afterwards and thorough explanation on drops procedure etc. Very relaxing experience Looking forward to my follow up appointment to thank the team once more. Mar 17,2020From the cheerful and supportive receptionist, the nursing staff and the surgeon the whole experience was excellent. You were made to feel relaxed and every stage of the operation was explained so that the whole experience was painless and surprisingly short.

Mar 01,2020I feel fortunate to have Mr Barua as my consultant at Midland Eye. I first saw him at an emergency appointment after a nasty fall which affected both eyes. My GP advised me to have a full eye check and so I phoned Midland Eye and was given an appointment the very next day. Mr Barua is an excellent consultant. He has a very kind and caring manner and a genuine concern for my eye health and wellbeing. Going forward I know that my eyes are in the very best hands, Thank you so much Mr Barua. I would also like to thank the rest of the team at Midland Eye. Everyone is so helpful, supportive and caring. I am always greeted with a smile and everyone always makes me feel so comfortable, relaxed and reassured, nothing is too much trouble. I certainly could not have made so much progress without you all and thank my lucky stars that it was Midland Eye that I called. Thank you all so much.

Jan 24,2020I have had the cataract removed from my other eye, again the procedure was carried out with great professional care. All the staff were helpful and always very cheerful, they all look after you with a smile, everyone making sure you are very comfortable. I have now had my last check up and both eyes are perfectly healed, if anyone reading this and is undecided where to have the procedure carried out please go to Midland Eye, I was very apprehensive about having eye surgery but the staff could not have made it any easier and my surgeon Mr Ramesh Sivaraj was brilliant.🙂

Feb 07,2023Excellent care from Mr Reuser and all the staff but slightly let down by lack of follow up.I had a medical question regarding my post op recovery but despite emailing twice no one from the medical team got back to me.Im disappointed that there was no follow up,just a call maybe two months after the surgery as a courtesy call would have been welcome.
