I strongly advise against using Moomoo based on my terrible experience. Over 40 days ago, I transferred money to my Moomoo account for trading, but due to a minor mistake (missing my Moomoo ID in the transfer), the funds were not credited. Since then, I have repeatedly contacted customer support, providing all necessary details, including my bank transfer confirmation. Despite multiple follow-ups, I have received no resolution, no proper response, and absolutely no access to my money. This level of service is completely unacceptable for a financial platform that handles real money. Moomoo is holding my funds without explanation, and I am now forced to escalate my case to FINRA and the SEC. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, stay away from Moomoo! Their lack of transparency and customer support is shocking.
I would give 0 IF I COULD My experience with this company has been overall TRASH. First of all the deposit took 5-7 days which is crazy for stocks. Secondly, They only allow you to trade a small amount of stocks like Apple but I cant even trade crypto and Finally, I CANT EVEN SELL I CAN ONLY BUY LIKE WTF!?!?
I would rank lower if possible. I received a promotional credit (2 credits, 50.00 each) for taking a financial class and they have continuiously pushed me off towards getting it applied. They have not applied it as of today. They have not called me back when they said they would or message me through the app like the would about resolving this issue, or escalate this several times when I have requested to do so. They are a scam! Avoid if possible. I bought the caleb hammer financial class bundle and one of the reasons why I got it was because of this. Its a bummer they are dropping the ball.
If you want money deposit within last then 3 days…this ain’t the brokerage to use. I have several other brokerage accounts and to do a ACH deposit takes less than 3 days. This company takes 5-7 days…which equates to you possibly missing out on good trading opportunities. I would never recommend. And don’t get caught up on the free stocks they’re offering. The free stocks they’re offering is all less than $2. Companies that’s scraping the bottom of the barrel.
Customer service lacks knowledge and only knows how to push responsibilities. Deposit is instant but withdrawal will take days. Withdrawal usd but received only 1/3 of the amount. Customer service cannot provide a credible answer.

This Chinese platform is scamming American citizens. They offer a referral program, promising anywhere from $150-$200 for a referral after the deposit of $100. The problem is they make it impossible to redeem. They do this by splitting up the rewards coupons into $25.00 and $50.00 increments. The threshold to use the rewards coupons is $100. So the kicker is here you can only use one coupon at a time. It's impossible to use. I spent 30 mins on chat with one of their reps. When I told the rep they were scamming Americans the rep stated they're sorry but it's Futu's policy they're just an employee. Another Chinese company taking advantage of American citizens. UPDATE I contacted moomoo customer service as instructed by the representative here on trustpilot. The representative knew they were just gaslighting and that once I contacted customer service on the app, they would do nothing.And that's exactly what the representative on the app.Told me that there was nothing they could do that.Those were their rules.They set up the rewards so you cannot use them. This chinese company is scamming american citizens and they know it!

I failed to check reviews before signing up to try Moo Moo but I can now confirm that reviews on here about the difficulty withdrawing your money from Moo Moo is real. I opted for the direct link method to deposit and withdraw, like all brokers, Moo Moo verified me and my bank account and accepted a deposit from me through my bank account. I found the platform slow because of the number of things to do to enter or exit a due to the number of pop up messages and unnecessary steps to enter and exit a trade. I decided to withdraw my money from moo moo. To my surprise I encountered stalling tactics designed to delay and block withdrawal. Here's my experience. I submitted the request to withdraw on Dec 22, received a notice saying request submitted so I thought it had gone through. On December 29 I was in my bank account and notice the withdrawal from Moo Moo wasn't there. Checked the moo moo account only to realise that rather than process my withdrawal they had sent me an email which unfortunately I did not see due to the holidays, asking me to verify myself again with a deadline. I resubmitted a request to withdraw again on Dec 29, did not receive an acknowledgement from Moo Moo so I emailed them on Dec 30 and was told that the request is PENDING. Why is a request to withdraw your available funds via direct deposit/ withdrawal method pending for, at this point, 3 days with Moo Moo? I know that customers make a choice to use these platforms and that I failed to do my due diligence and check the reviews before trying their platform but the fact that so many people have and CONTINUE to experience the same problems to withdraw their money means that regulatory bodies like FINRA are not aware of Moo Moo's predatory practices, which takes advantage of their position over clients funds once its in their hands. Moo Moo should be monitored by US regulatory bodies and maybe even congress should do some oversight into their practices as well. I intend to submit a formal complaint and write to my representative in congress and encourage others having problems to withdraw their money from moo moo to do the same.
App difficult to navigate. In Canada at least, moomoo is just lipstick on an Interactive Brokers account but twice as complicated because you have to go through two processes, one for moomoo and one for IB. Closed my account as soon as that was obvious. Chat support is generic and not very helpful. Update: trustpilot coerced me to submit moomoo account information, otherwise they’d remove my review. After I did so, moomoo called me multiple times asking me to remove my review. I asked if they had fixed the problem and if not, no. And then I hung up. Sheesh. This whole platform stinks. Can’t leave a review of anything without both trustpilot and the business harassing you and invading your privacy.
Steal your money, say they will refund money and it will hit your account in '10 days'. Beens 40 days now and not responding. Watch out for this Scam
