Oct 03,2024I was introduced to msb solicitors by a family member and this led me to Haley Catherall who was dealing with family law seperations divorces ect . I was struck by the great service and proffesionalism of Haley and her team who obtained a great and fair result for me. When i came to moving house i had no hesitation in contacting Haley again to ask for advice on the convayancing side of the move. Haley directed me to the convayancing side of msb where another team led by Helen Backstrom handled my house move. Once again i found the service impeccable and Helen and her team guided me through the whole process brilliantly until the property was finaly mine. Oct 02,2024I’d give 6 🌟 if I could. ive spoken to law firms who didn’t seem to know what they were doing or give a stuff about clients - honestly I started to think all law firms were rubbish. I was recommended to MSB from a friend who thought they were great. I was cautious but didn’t need to be. I used them for a family issue. Emma Palmer is fantastic, she understood what needed to be done and how to do it, talked me through everything in a way I could understand and was just brilliant. At times I was on the verge of making bad decisions, she guided me back from making those mistakes. She just gets it. Anyone with a family issue should call her. I’ve recommended friends and family to MSB who have all been very happy with other people in the family team and with the teams that do wills and buy houses. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else.

Our most recently completed transaction was a £400k+ residential property purchase which was handled with due care and attention and completed on time with no delays. We have 3 more transactions in with MSB which we are regular updated on and have no concerns that these transactions will be a breeze - due to the hard work of Jack, and his team at MSB.

Sep 18,2024I am really surprised to read the high level of bad reviews below. I have been dealing with MSB for almost 5 years now. They are my go-to for everything. They supported me through an immensely complex issue in the family court. They went above and beyond, and I believe if not for their high level of competence, I would not be here today to write this review. I had fantastic representation and am so grateful for them. I am not sure how I feel about my experience so far with the most recent department I am dealing with, as it has taken a while to get a simple issue resolved, however, it is very early days and I will update this review to reflect my later experience. I highly recommend Katie Camozzi, Steven Butchart, Susie Packer, and Michael Boland. I dealt with Wendy Eves when she was still working for the firm and she was also incredible. MSB has seen me through incredibly dark times and I will always revert to them if ever in a sticky situation! I cannot express how appreciative I am of their service. They did more than just put through paperwork. They guided me, listened to me, and never failed me with their advice. For family proceedings, I would not recommend anybody else.

Aug 30,2024I have been a client of MSB for over 20 years buying and selling property and in 2019 they represented me whilst I was going through my divorce. I have probably spent 10's of thousands of pounds with them!!!! I called in today to get some documents verified and they said they would not verify anything unless we had a current matter they were dealing with!! In other words if they are not making any money out of you they don't want to know. When I first joined MSB just over 20 years ago - MSB were a respectable and helpful firm looking after their clients, at the time I was with Paul Bibby and he looked after me!! He was great and provided an excellent service!! THE NEW MSB IS LOAD OF...........AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

Aug 22,2024Do not use msb Solicitors. I already had been catastrophically let down by 3 professionals which led to the loss of my company. Msb agreed that I had been wronged and arranged for me to sign an agreement with them stating that they would send a letter of claim to the defendant. They charged me over £2,500. After receiving my fee, they changed their opinion and breached their contract with me, refusing to send the letter of claim. After taking nearly 8 weeks to respond to my complaint, they agreed to only give me a partial refund. I have been left out of pocket and even more mistrusting of these so called professionals who think they are above the general public. I am disgusted and I am taking my case against them to the Legal Ombudsman and the SRA.

Jun 24,2024No consistency in who is handling my case. Over a month of delays due to “IT issues” meaning letters weren’t sent out, not informed of any of this until I repeatedly chased. Get the impression they do not look at or action anything on your file until you chase them, was told 6-8 weeks to complete. This is a simple case and I’m now on month 5 still no completion. Avoid this firm.

Sep 27,2023I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with this soliciting firm on a recent buy to let property purchase. I was assigned a case handler whom consistently ignored or did not responded to my emails or enquiries, I would consisterly have to make an effort to try and get a hold of someone in the firm to to understand updates with my case. It got so bad that the firm partner had to personally handle the case and proceedings. I was offered discount on my soliciting fees, but the stress of having to chase consistently was not worth it. I personally would not look to use them again or recommend them to anyone.

Aug 16,2023Absolutely useless- Rosie McGarry has 3 times given exchange and completion dates which everyone has agreed on then been uncontactable on each day so we still haven't completed. Has repeatedly misinformed everyone as to what missing pieces of the puzzle there maybe remaining. Have never encountered this level of incompetence in a conveyance or missed agreed exchange dates- is there any understanding of the stress, expense and disruption this causes? Clearly not as she can't even be bothered to reply to our solicitor, her client or the agent- what a bunch of amateurs- steer well clear of MSB.

Oct 16,2024Extremely poor service zero communication they don’t pick up don’t return calls. Enquired requested at the start of house sale left until the end slowing everything down. Extremely poor advised they have lots of cases maybe they shouldn’t accept the work if it’s too much. If you’re wanting communication or a sale to go through within 4 months go else where!!!!
