Munchery is a whole new way to get dinner on the table: we deliver our chef-crafted meals and cooking kits made using fresh, whole ingredients to your door at everyday prices.
Four Stars is an excellent review in my book. We've enjoyed our experience with Munchery. Consistent service, tasty food and good prices. Any very occasional quirks are dealt with professionally and quickly. I have and will recommend.
I LOVE everything I order! I stock up my frig every week for nights I'm too tired to cook... great food! Can't say enough great things about it!
great food!!
I've been ordering munchery meals regularly for my dad for nearly the past year. He loves them! I've been trying to improve my dad's diet due to a health scare last year and I love how munchery shows the nutrition facts so I can choose the lower sodium options!! Price point and the rotating food options are great. Delivery is a breeze and the text updates are super helpful! In fact, my hubby and I are clients too. We order food on those nights when we're too tired to cook. We esp. love the pasta, salmon, and beef entrees. Keep up the great work munchery!
The food is better and more expensive as are the delivery charges. They have re included fish dishes which dwindled out 6 months ago. Still, few if any gluten-fee meals.
Wonderful food and wonderful service. Couldn't be happier!
Great dishes and so convenient.
Prices are high, there's a membership fee now, portions are smaller and food is just... meh. Not really worth it. In response to Munchery's response: I don't mind smaller portions, but I do mind that prices are higher all around. Less food = more money? Nope.
Good food, great service, great portions
The best service - in the advertised time - product is I think better than advenrtised - Had one of the marinated steak dishes this time and was an excellent helping of excellent quality beef. Totally recommend and in fact I already have to friends - KRS
Very reliable and convenient. Good, well prepared food that arrives on time. Tastes fresh and is easy to prepare/serve. I would like to see more new choices, especially vegetarian. Most of the packaging can be recycled. I prefer when they use paperboard over plastic.
Munchery is too expensive. I wanted to use it as a service where I can have a good, healthy dinner multiple times a week (3-4 times). It is not that. Between membership fees (which is a ridiculous business model) and meal costs, paying $15 for dinner multiple times a week is unsustainable. I can get a better tasting meal from a restaurant in my neighborhood (pickup or seamless) for a comparable price. There's literally no value in the services. On top of all that the food is generally pretty average. The average food would be fine if the price point was closer to $10 per meal. Munchery will respond with typical mumbojumbo about sourcing fresh, sustainable ingredients, etc etc. This is New York, I can get that from a million places in my neighborhood.
you food is mediocre and expensive.
It's typically really good. But lately, the food quality has suffered. Significantly.
I love the Munchery. We are always amazed at how fresh and delicious the meals are, better, most of the time, than any of the restaurants we go to! And incredibly well priced, delivered to our door and no prep so if you to work late, it's there waiting and all you have to do is heat it up for a few minutes and then, we just stare at each other not believing how delicious and unique these meals are prepared. The service is so good, too. I have nothing but raves to give to the Munchery.
This is largely great! Love having it all brought to my door in a box with vey little food waste and most can be recycled. The recipes are often very delicious. Nearly all take over 15 minutes--more like 25. Love the donation and the tree planting to offset a carbon footprint. A few glitches in delivery are handled well. Lately, ingredients required more prep work than usual, and some have been left out, substituted or extras included. It's always a little disconcerting having so many extra freezer packs and disposing of them. Why not collect them? Also, we have subscribed long enough that the meals are repeating, and while delivery and shopping and packaging are a cost, please know that $22 for a salad with romaine, walnuts and pears, with bread and goat cheese still somehow seems excessive. It's not unique or upscale enough, I suppose. Finally, I love the recipe photos, but a simple first step of, "Put this pot on and this pan on to heat", makes all the difference and never is part of the plan. Another approach might provide a helpful overview--something like, "You will have a pasta/rice/grain pot heating, along with a pan for cooking veggies and fish."
Fresh, farm to table quality ingredients and DELICIOUS! the kind of food you would expect to get at any upscale fine restaurant. I've been unable to drive for the last two years and wanted healthy yet tasty choices for food delivery with excellent service; very glad I did.
Inconsistent Too much sugar in meals Repetive meals Good delivery Not enough pure olive oil Relatively healthy Delivery charge high Many meals cost rising
Perfection. Saves money, time, and energy; and the food options are HEAVENLY

Aug 24,2017The dinners are simple to prepare, delicious and arrive on-time. Much better than your standard fare take-out. Dollar for dollar, this service is a major bargain. Plus, they make it easy to count calories.
