Tore jacket a month after the purchase. Reached out to customer support for repairs. No advice or services where offered. Disappointed in the quality and the (missing) lacking service.
Products seem to have gone down hill, I used to swear by their Niels standard Tees as the perfect design, however the last one I purchased has completely faded after just one use, also a recent purchase of some Aros shorts, another favourite just don't seem to have the quality they once had, such a shame, sort it out Norse!
Return portal doesn't work - customer support doesn't answer. What a joke for a company charging such prices. Will never order again.
I bought a down filled jacket from them (£700.00) which had the Pertex finish, supposedly waterproof. Guys, before buying, take a look at the negative reviews, there is a reason for them. First time out in the rain the jacket was totally porous which ruined the down filling. After several emails and two weeks, no offer of a refund or replacement, just a comment that they will report the issue to their production team. This is obviously no comfort at all as i am now £700.00 out of pocket on a product which is not ft for purpose. Very poor products and even worse customer service. Avoid at all costs.
I have a closet full of Norse Projects (NP) clothing and a love/hate relationship with the brand. NP sizing is wildly inconsistent. Often I'll buy two of the same shirt/size and keep the one that fits better knowing that they will differ. I have three Sigfrid/Kirk/Adam sweaters that pile worse than sweaters a fraction of the cost (but are nearly as soft as cashmere). DO NOT buy their Vagn sweatshirts under any circumstances, I've had two and I've never seen an item shrink as bad as these--they shrunk at least 3 sizes and now are unwearable. When new...they were perfect. Similarly, their Nils shirts shrink irregularly (beware of grey heather-colored cotton items). At this price point, it is unacceptable that you could not machine wash a simple t-shirt or sweatshirt--"dry clean only" is not a permissible excuse; it is a design flaw. Beware that even though their permanent collection appears year after year, they DO alter the FIT from year to year. A good rule of thumb is that the Vagn/Nils lines fit one or more sizes small, the Algot shirts fit true to size, and every other shirt fits one size large (sometimes two). Kirk/Adam/Sigfrid sweater sizing is also true to size. Every cotton item you buy from Norse Projects will shrink. A lot. So why do I keep buying their stuff? When an item does fit, it does so perfectly. I love the color and style combinations--simple, but with subtle, elevating design flourishes. Better flannel shirt patterns simply do not exist; NP has balanced the flannel universe. Their sweaters hit a sweet spot with a timeless, modern fit. Lastly, I shamefully identify with their "design ethos" and regrettably buy into their marketing. Its all fluff, but if clothes make you FEEL a certain way, of a certain tribe, in a certain moment, then they've done half their job. Remember: all you're really paying for with a luxury brand is perception. My recommendation is only to buy NP clothes on significant discount (which I do) from online retailers. Make sure that you buy from retailers with a simple, straightforward return policy that works in your country because the chances you'll need to return an item are high. When you do find an item that works, enjoy the understated Scandinavian sophistication that the brand promotes so well.
I’m not sure what’s happened to these guys, but they used to be amazing. Now they’ve gone up massively in price, hugely down in quality and their returns policy is shockingly bad. I used to buy so much from them, but now I feel the quality is the same as Uniqlo but 5x the price. It’s so disappointing as they were my favourite brand but now they are just mugging off their customers. Stay away and buy brands like Folk, COS or a Days March, a fraction of the price but better price.
Despicable customer service. Never in my life have I experienced such disgraceful customer service. I was sent jeans that were labeled incorrectly, and have been through a months long ordeal trying to get a refund for them. The CS attendants refute factual, proven information that is clearly stated in writing, they are manipulating, gaslighting pieces of work. Good luck to anyone who chooses to shop with the company. They will make your life worse.
My Nunk Econyl jacket did not last its first dry cleaning process. Seams just broke open in multiple spots. Too bad I only had it cleaned a couple of months after the warranty. Customer service offered me nothing, not even a paid repair! This is beyond frustrating.
Got a gore tex jacket about 4 years ago - have worn it across the world, long hikes, camping etc. and also bars, nights out, festivals. Looks brand new still, basically no wear and tear. Worth the money.
I recently ordered the Alvar Gore-Tex Infinum 4.0 from Norse Projects on 22nd of March, which was supposed to be delivered by DHL Express. Unfortunately, the package was signed for by someone who was not me and it went missing. I was frustrated by the slow customer service of DHL, but I was very grateful for the amazing customer service of Norse Projects. Amanda and Emma were both very communicative and kept me informed throughout the whole process. Furthermore, they offered me a full refund in the meantime while they mediated with DHL. I'm thankful for the great customer service and I hope that DHL will take responsibility for the situation and reimburse Norse Projects for the value of the package. Oh and I'm very satisfied with the overall quality and fit of the Alvar Gore-Tex Infinum 4.0 I purchased from another webshop in the meantime, as they were on sale.
I have owned many Norse Projects items. My review is to highlight the Alta Pertex 2.0 Light Jacket and the Mountain Boots. The Jacket is highly durable... withstanding many tumbles into thorn bushes and scraping against large rock faces. I've found this jacket can be used for both spring, with light layering underneath, and winter, when paired with a jacket liner or sweater (Northern Ontario, BC Mainland, Canada). I love the style of the jacket and find the pockets to have just enough room for my belongings. The boots are extremely light and durable. My family is known for being rough on our belongings so these boots passed our brutality test. The leather is a nice texture that is very easy to clean. The water-proof feature is flawless as I've been submerged to my ankles many-a-time with no moisture seeping through the seams. Looking forward to new products. Well worth their price in terms of value and style.
I buy norse garments since 2012 and their products do have quality issues. Over the years I had nearly everything from socks, over hats to coats and shoes. In my openion its not worth retail. Not even close. I really can not understand why they higher their prices every year. But if you find norse in sale give it a shot. Especially their higher priced jackets are good.
Ordered direct from their website. Order process was very simple and received confirmation emails. Order delivered to the UK one day earlier than advised. First impressions are that clothes are good quality (although time will tell!). Very good customer experience so far.
Poor quality control. I purchased a pair of Aros Light Twill Shorts which looked spot on out of the packet but upon washing them I noticed the stitching along the rear looked odd, a closer look revealed holes left from a sewing machine and my guess is that they were probably sewn incorrectly, the stitching picked, then sewn again in the factory. The machine wash I gave them looks to have fluffed up the holes and it looks a mess. These shorts should have never have left the factory, poor quality control!

Feb 08,2025I bought a backpack, the ARKTISK Black 25L Day Backpack model, which is the most durable backpack I've ever had in my life. However, I find that Blinir sweaters are of poor quality; they pill too quickly and look terrible after two months.
