I Requested a price on a solid plastic door to replace a door that wasn't in the opening anymore. I sent pictures and drew a sketch of the door. I received pricing for the door. When I placed the order for the door, I was told that One Point can not make the door as I requested. I was told that I needed to purchase a pilaster and the door. I was never told this when I sent the quote request in. Why did I have to pay extra for a pilaster, when a pilaster wasn't quoted? I have proof that I sent drawings and pictures when I asked for the quote request. I had to pay for a pilaster because someone at One Point failed to study the pictures and drawing in detail. I am an estimator as well. If I were to make that mistake, I would be forced to supply the pilaster at no extra charge.
I had an issue with the shipping company that was used for the delivery of partitions. I was told I had a guaranteed delivery of a certain date but not only did the delivery not come, the shipper never called to let me know, until that afternoon when I called wanting an update after sitting at the jobsite for hours. One point stepped up and was able to get a refund on a portion paid for shipping and forwarded that to me. Partitions were delivered the following week, installed and everything fit as needed and partitions look great
