May 02,2023Stick to using Klarna people!! I saw this as a “new option” and was tempted….. I was looking to and now have purchased an item for my daughters birthday in 2 weeks not cheap (£965) and was going to do the normal split in 3 with Klarna and saw payl8r however they charge you an application fee of £4.95 of which everyone pays £2 upfront for a “soft credit search” this is ridiculous. This company won’t be in business long the way they potentially can exploit people by charging for a service the client does not receive. I am just glad I fully digested their terms and conditions before using them. Do not use they are disgusting especially in our current climate. My one word of advice stick to interest free options like Klarna, Clearpay and PayPal pay in 3.

Apr 28,2023Purchased a quad bike on finance and when it broke and I was ignored by the seller as advised by trading standards I contacted the company as in theory the bike is theirs u till I finish paying for it. "Investigated my complaint" and sided with the company even though I can prove they have not replied to me. Avoid as they are zero help if you need them.

Apr 07,2023Useless Scummy company. They charge to conduct a credit check, which no othe company does,and thats because its a free service i.e. they dont get charged by credit score companies. Regardless of weather or not you pass the check they still charge you. Now, I was using pellpax.co.uk and made an application for credit,and passed. But,then i noticed that the quote for the credit was quite a bit higher than expected, the interest was completely unreasonable despite the relatively small amount of credit that was asked for. For around £348 credit they wanted something like £515 back at £53 pcm To put that into perspective you can purchase a brand new motorbike worth around £2000, with a fair credit rating, for around £50 pcm with no deposit. What i was buying was a £200 air pistol and a £99 pump+vat and face to face delivery. I decided initially not to accept payl8r's "offer" but then later thought, well the interest may be extortionate, but since the air pistol was discounted by more than 50% i will still only be payinggits value and will essentially be getting the pump for free and on top it will be good for my credit in the long term. BUT, When i attempted to purchase again later that week i recieved an error notification from payl8r saying that there was a purchase still in progress under my name and that I needed to create a new purchase,I did just that and again recieved the same notification. Payl8r seems to be iffy af, a total rip and also completely inept/incompetent

Apr 06,2023Do not use!! Only company that take payments for soft credit checks and refuse to refund if you do not proceed. Asked to speak to manager regarding this told nobody is in. No management or senior member to help or watch staff is disgusting from a. Financial company!!!

May 03,2023Decided on trying Payl8r for myself , ive had buy now pay later schemes before andcalways paid on tine without any issues what so ever Payl8r decided to reject my application ..however yes its their choice i'll just use the ones ive used before . Nice though they taking money off me to , may ONLY be £2 but its the principle ......didnt get accepted but they still take money .....the reason hidden away YOU are paying for a credit check and you only get it back if successful.......feeling well pissed For the purpose of Payl8r.....rearrange the name of NEWARK into something meaningful for you !
