Sep 03,2020Nice people, good service , timely delivery.....BUT.... Do not trust the on line images or descriprors. I spent £100 on a 1.1m length of 30mm diameter stainless steel tube for a cosmetic application where it needed to be bright polished. I placed a note on my order that somebody needed to make sure there were no scratches or marks. The piece came with scratches, work holding marks, impact marks and porosity. The non seemed tube is rough, contrary to the images. I was upset that given the note, nobody called and said "What you are asking fro is not possible"... HOWEVER... terms and conditions lock you into it being your responsibility to know what you are ordering. Something you can not check on line! I like shops.. you can see what you get. When buying on line there is an element of trust required. If you need cosmetic quality from these guys. You wont get it. Anything else I am sure they are great...

Aug 10,2020Great product ... returns “disappointing”. Ordered some pipes for table legs. Really good product an looks amazing. Ordered wrong sizes and the whole returns part has be an unmitigated pain in the backside. Would I buy from them again (the acid test) ... yes ... but more cautiously

Aug 06,2020I needed to fit a hand grip, on a door with a step. My wife has MS and is very unsteady. The stuff you can buy never seems to fit the way things are laid out so I went DIY. So, a hefty bit of steel pipe, floor to ceiling, with heavy mounting plates. End result seems solid as a rock and has cost less than half the amount of the closest ‘off the shelf’ equivalent and is better. The pipedream people were massively helpful, phoning to check I had ordered exactly right and making suggestions on fittings. Very happy, very good end result.

Aug 05,2020was sent incorrect order I.e. 48mm fittings instead of 42mm despite receiving some of the correct 42mm... pipe dreams rectified the issue by sending correct ones for next day(Friday) that did not arrive until the Monday delaying the job and then when checked they had missed product out and had to send again...…… Pickers need to pay more attention I think.

Jul 31,2020Brought a shelf from them which turned up damaged as one end had water damage. They ignored my email about this. Went to put shelf up and the holes were drilled far too small and it wouldn’t slide on to the fittings. They also ignored my emails about this and there is no answer when you try to ring. Complete waste of £60, will be taking them to the small claims court to get my money back.

Jul 31,2020Good product range. I got everything that I wanted to build floating shelves for the kitchen. Packaging could have been better - the pipes were not covered fully and had minor scuffs on delivery.

Jul 30,2020Update - company has politely responded to this review and I've resent my email so hopefully I'll get a response. Very fast delivery and heavy quality pipe and fittings. However, the company advertises as supplying to make handrails, light fittings etc and this is fine is you're going to paint the pipework. If you want the natural product look then be prepared for cut pipe lengths that are marked by nicks from machine clamps. The other reasons for the drop of 2 stars are that the cut machined pipe lengths were not cleaned before dispatch. They were still covered in machining oil which soaked through the packaging. The delivery guy wasn't impressed in getting oily hands! Also a follow up enquiry email to swap a couple of ready made fittings for 2 others remains unanswered so correspondence is lacking.

Jul 30,2020Prices, for stainless at least which is what I wanted, are very good. Delivery charge for 6m lengths also very good. But.... firstly, website says you have to ask for a quote for anything over 1m, which I did. Very prompt response in the form of a quote - but not how to convert it into an order. I got no response when I asked how to, so had a play with on-line ordering only to find the "basket" calculated the delivery charge anyway (and it was the same as the quote). So basically a day wasted. Then, after waiting for the order to be confirmed, I asked for the courier name and tracking number so I could make sure I was in - I didn't want £250 worth of stainless dumped in the street..... I never got a reply, it just pure luck I was in the morning it arrived.

Jul 29,2020Polite customer service but delivery was way too late and messed up the job I ordered the items for. Ordered on the Tuesday for 1-3 days delivery and arrived in 2 parts, one half on the following Wednesday and the other the Thursday. Messed my job up that I ordered it for and got told on 3 occasions I would get a call back on delivery status but got nothing.

Easy to order off the website with clear pricing, goods arrived really quick and the quality is great. People are quick to write a bad review about companies but I think credit where it’s due.
