Upon getting my package I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of these cables and chains. I've been using RIGID and the quality from Plumber Tools puts them to shame. Plumber Tools offer amazing quality at an amazing price. They also have lots of high quality videos on YouTube showing what to expect, and how to properly care for their flex shafts. Nov 28,2024Flexshaft is the best on the market IMO! Believe i was one of the 1st to switch to their version (5/16th) on the Milwaukee machine. That machine originally only comes with 70'-75' and it's too soft. So I switched to Plumbing Tool version. Not only did I switch it out, I bought a 100' roll. So now my Milwaukee machine has 100'on it, in which it can be pushed all the way out to 100' when needed. It's game changing for me. 80% of the time I need more that 75' on my jobs. I had to make my own adapter before PT offered their version. So I just buy the 100' roll & the adapter then press it on myself. But I'm sure they will press it on for ya if you ask. I'm on my 3rd 100' FS cable due to doing things I shouldn't be doing. I've burned up the plastic sleeve twice now trying to push down a cleanout with a dang straight tee, cable got hot/soft so pushed upstream on the tee. Just me simply no paying attention. Tees on cleanouts are a no no in this area, & like I mentioned it's got me twice now. Both times it only ruined like 10' & 20', but now I've had 100' on that machine, I gotta have 100'. I hate using extensions. Never work well for me, with the weight of the coupling & the bending effect, I haven't had much luck. Also I've used all of their chains except for the root hole saw. The crocos chains are good for descaling, xtips are good for roots & descaling. You set the croco chains up correctly they will never show wear. I have over 30 descale jobs on some of my croco chains. I just used their version of the cyclone & it worked great also. JJ has been my guy!
