Feb 12,2025I was £140 for a plumber to call out and diagnose the problem which took 5 mins. Then he wanted £500 to fix a problem that required one hour labour. I called my usual plumber and he said he could see me in two days. I told him what the issue was and he said he would fix the toilet for £150. I got off the phone and told them to leave as they were trying to rip me off and 2 minutes later the office called and offered a 20% discount. I told them I wasn’t interested as it was still way too much. So basically I was charged £140 for a ten minute visit where nothing was done apart from them telling me I had a leak.My usual plumber called around a couple of days later, fixed the issue in 1 hour and charged me £150 like he said he would. PM247 are scumbags, avoid at all cost.

Feb 10,2025I had a simple tap fault. 1st fix lasted a week or so. They fitted a new cartridge. Return to fix same fault. 2nd fix lasted a week or so. Return to fix same fault. They fitted a new cartridge as the plumber said he had now fitted the correct one. 3rd visit the plumber discovered that he fixed the wrong fault which should have been discovered on visit 1. The cartridge and the handle didn't fit together. Kicked them out of the house. I still have the fault. Now they are trying to charge me for the 3rd visit. My advice is to go elsewhere. The experience date is the date of the 3rd visit.
