Nov 23,2024It is a quality pole and is exactly what I wanted, but there were two snags that would have defeated a DIY beginner. The pozi headed screws were cheap and unusable, the heads lost their cruciform engagement with the slightest twist, also the threaded support ( the bit that gets screwed to the wall ) was cross threaded when packed, and after using a vice to enable separating the two bits I had to repair the thread in the wooden end support. Ultimately, fitted OK, all good and it is fine.
