Mar 17,2023I originally ordered the wrong bulbs due to a misunderstanding. They refunded the cost and sent me the right ones (halogen). I wanted brighter bulbs and chose to pay a bit more for the philips bulbs that claimed to be 'up to 50% brighter'. I think they are better. Still not as good as the LEDs in my newer car, but LEDs on my old Avensis is a bit complicated.

Mar 12,2023Powerbulbs website makes selection easy. Delivery in rural Australia took about a month. Uncertain about bulb upgrade being an adequate solution, I was more comfortable buying from Powerbulbs at half the price for equivalents in local stores. Installation was easy and the improvement obvious. The most important benefit is to low beam, which was previously inadequate for highway driving. The lights are now whiter and more powerful. After adjustment I can see well enough to dip with confidence at 100km/hr. High beam has great penetration to illuminate the road and wandering nocturnal creatures. It also provides a bright spot to reveal any hazards on the road surface. In summary, Powerbulbs provided an essential improvement for the 2010 Ford Transit without breaking the bank. The Ring Xenon 200 bulbs made the headlights safe for highway cruising.
