Project Destined, founded by a former Carlyle Group executive, has partnered with 250+ leading real estate firms and 300+ universities around the country to provide diverse students with internship opportunities to explore ownership through live real estate deals. Project Destined is a unique real estate program that provides young adults from underrepresented communities with the opportunity to learn about commercial real estate through a hands-on, immersive experience. The program is designed to inspire and educate the next generation of real estate professionals by exposing them to all aspects of the industry, from property management to deal-making.
At Project Destined, participants work alongside experienced real estate professionals to analyze properties, develop business plans, and pitch their ideas to real estate investors. Good at involving us even while there are many in attendance, speaker gets us to think - although would suggest not talking as fast to grasp content better. Offered good example to work on to gain better understanding and knowledge. Great was able to work in mini teams and get to know one another more.

Cedric broke down real estate concepts that used to confuse me in a straightforward manner. For anyone interested in mastering Commercial Real Estate, I highly recommend this program!

The speaker was engaging with the student attendees and involved us in the learning process through questioning. However, there weren't many other opportunities for engagement besides that and the Breakout Rooms.
