Project Destined, founded by a former Carlyle Group executive, has partnered with 250+ leading real estate firms and 300+ universities around the country to provide diverse students with internship opportunities to explore ownership through live real estate deals. Project Destined is a unique real estate program that provides young adults from underrepresented communities with the opportunity to learn about commercial real estate through a hands-on, immersive experience. The program is designed to inspire and educate the next generation of real estate professionals by exposing them to all aspects of the industry, from property management to deal-making.
At Project Destined, participants work alongside experienced real estate professionals to analyze properties, develop business plans, and pitch their ideas to real estate investors. Oct 13,2024The presentation and the lesson did a great job breaking down new concepts at a beginner's level. While the practice example needed a little more background in the field to understand specific questions, overall, it was doable. Maybe a brief vocabulary slide where people can take a picture for future reference. Because the class is so broad, there are some new beginners and people who have years in the field. Therefore I feel like its fair for everyone to put up a quick vocab slide and move on swiftly.
