Jul 19,2023Did an online quote for CAA, and recieved a call from them to set up an appointment to talk further about the quote. When they called, I was told that a different company actually had a better offer and I was transfered to a different company. It was then that I was told it was through rates.ca, not CAA. After a half an hour on the phone, the quote was almost $60 higher than I was given initially because the broker claimed that my husband being rear ended counted as an at fault accident, and concrete falling from an overpass onto my car was an at fault claim. We were interested in pursuing new insurance with CAA, which we had heard positive things about through family, and instead felt misled with a no-name company that can't tell the difference between at-fault and not at fault claims.
