Their name is a misnomer. There is nothing resembling "LUX" in this company. They sent me emails confirming my transaction was confirmed. They then asked for additional information which I sent. They emailed the date of the reservation that they would later email the name of my driver. When I landed at Laguardia NYC, I received an email that they had cancelled my reservation. Travel and work with this company at your own risk.

Using the website, I ordered an airport pickup with a driver meeting us at the baggage carousel with a sign in an effort to completely eliminate the confusion associated with airport pickups. The cost was more than double an Uber or a Taxi. The website indicated a $30 up charge bringing the total to $245 charged for the trip. The confirmation indicated a note that the driver must have a sign. The driver did not have a sign, nor did the driver meet us in the baggage claim area. Leading to the very confusion I was trying to avoid. The driver said the company never told him, however it’s on my documentation. I texted the company immediately and provided the confirmation sheet. They are now claiming there were billing errors on their website and I should’ve been charged more and that the ride was for curbside pickup and they never charged $30 for a sign and baggage claim pickup. Do yourself a favor, get a Taxi, an Uber, or another company save on confusion, money and hassle ~ they charge a premium rate with less than premier service. Off to make the necessary complaints to try and recover the fees for a service that was not provided. First and last time customer ~ there are way too many other options out there that are reliable and have their house in order.
Visiting the UK from California for the first time in over 20 years. I had booked a self drive car but realized quickly that I was not confident enough to drive safely. I had an extensive itinerary booked for a full week and taking trains was not feasible because of scheduling issues. With only 24 hours notice, Kamal at Ride Lux was able to provide drop off and pick up for five trips over long distances then returning to London. Most importantly, when I needed to adjust pickup times on short notice, Ride Lux complied and all of my rides were excellent from start to finish. A top rate company which I can recommend highly.
STAY FAR AWAY!!! They request a photo of your credit card and a photo of your ID. When I inquired why they needed the information they said it was to prevent fraud and verify billing information. I sent them a copy of my ID with my face/birthday and other information blocked out. I left my name and address which is all they need to verify billing. They refused and said they needed all of my information including photo/DOB/License # etc... What are they using that information for? I don't know but I would strongly recommend not finding out!
This is a scam. Do not use them. They ask for your credit card info and ID and then immediately cancel your reservation.

Will definitely be using this service all the time. I got the luxury sprinter I believe for my guests I had over from America and the driver and ride was a delight! Can’t recommend enough honestly. So patient too

Nov 04,2024Hired a private car for 5 hours to pick up and return my elderly disabled father in law while I was out of town. Ridelux canceled the reservation and never called or notified me even though they sent an email that confirms the reservation. They claim to have sent an email to my elder and disabled father in law asking for documentation but there is nothing in the FAQ or details that mentions such a policy. To make things worse, when I called to see where the driver was, no one was available to take the call and I had to call and call for 45 mins to get someone. Poor process and very poor communication. Would not recommend or use again.
