Rio Health was established 30 years ago when the founding members discovered the power of the South American botanicals. They were so impressed, they decided to share these gifts of nature with the rest of the world! Today Rio Health, specialize in high quality South American whole-plant botanicals and extracts. The Rio Amazon Collection includes Pau d'Arco, Maca, Graviola (Soursop), Quebra Pedra, Yerba Mate, Guarana and the award-winning natural and organic vegan skincare range Rio Rosa Mosqueta. The new Rio Health brand was launched in 2020, providing mainly South American botanicals as tinctures, including Cat’s Claw, Manayupa (Burbur) and Stevia. Rio Health is the UK distributor for Silidyn, Green Magma, Best Choice and Epigenar. Our mission is to bring some of the wonderful natural healing plants from South America and share their benefits with the rest of the world.

I first started using this oil, via my local independent health shop recommendation ( sadly, since covid, it's folded), to help heal a scaring from a foot operation. By applying a few drops, twice a day, the line of stitched skin, healed well. Left smooth & hardly visible. Now, I just apply this rich, aromatically fragranced oil into my face, at night, after cleansing. It makes my skin smooth and supple, and helps to even out my wrinlkes. I wouldn't be without it.

Speedy service. I bought yerba mate tea. Allegedly, this complements quercetin in combatting inflammation (an issue with me because of my arthritis). Too early to say if it helps, but it makes a nice drink - so a pleasurable experiment.

Product was brilliant BUT I had to remove one star because of the delivery. I ordered the item and downloaded the Shop app as advised to track delivery. I kept an eye on the app day for updated as I would have to work from home to take delivery - app kept saying "about to ship". A few days later I came home to a card from Royal Mail(?) to say that a parcel for me had been left with my neighbour. Rio Health item was the only item I was expecting but app still said "about to ship" - turns out it was my Rio Health delivery. It's fine my order was left with my neighbour but I'm still wary of ordering potentially more expensive itmes if I can't accurately track delivery.
