I started 12+ years ago and planned for 22 years investment for my retirement funds. I asked the financial advisor for low risk, so was aware profit would be less, but less chance of a loss. When initially in the first few years I was always seeing a loss, I was assured it was too soon and as a medium-long term investment, over time it would improve. I spoke to my advisor again, one time I was reassured it was OK, another time I filled forms to swap investment over to other companies. After being more than halfway through the term and still running at a loss, I decided to cut my losses and surrender. With the surrender penalty, the loss and the delay in them closing the account I ended with 10% loss on 12 years of saving. A bank account or savings account are better and safer investments and that is what I will now stick to.
I have no intention to early surrender the policy, as recommended by the financial adviser. I’m not sure how it will be the grow after my 15 years of the plan, but I’ll give it a try. Honestly alone I couldn’t save as much, so I hope it will end up in a good way. Of course I’m worried about the market behavior by the time of the end of the policy, but I guess I can always keep the policy open waiting for better times. I’m 5 years in and so far so good.
Have not made any interest since i invested over 3 yrs ago.On my retirement. Yet have to pay out fees. Would have made more in a banksavings account. Totally screwed up my retirement money.
Extremely poor customer experience. Trying to do a number of encashments and so far it has been 3 months and no money! Admittedly we have made mistakes along the way but RL360 have been completely uncommunicative unless and take forever to do anything.
Bad customer service as they don't care and respond to customers promptly.
I'm so sad at myself for having signed this scam and didn't do the proper research back in the days to AVOID SIGNING THIS PLAN AND LOST ALL MY MONEY. No matter how nice they put it, the contract is written in a way were they can change the charges at their convenience. Charges are so high it should be illegal! The returns that they use in their simulations are another point of alert to give you an incentive to make the first deposit, but they are completely unreal (IT'S ALL APPERENCE, TO MAKE IT NICE BUT IT'S NOT TRUE). PLEASE DON'T BE AS STUPID AS ME AND DON'T SIGN. I hope this review help you, I wish I had read something like this before LOSING -13.000 EUROS with this investment. I really wish all the worst things possible to the people that work stealing money to people who worked hard to save it.
Unfortunately I only realised about how bad this "savings scheme" was when I was 7 months into my contributions and because you are locked in for 15 years, now that I have decided to withdraw I will lose everything I invested. I admit, I am not someone who is not very clued in with markets or fully aware of financial terms and jargon I was confident with my decision to set up a long term savings plan with this company without any proper research (yes I know, i've learnt the hard way now) and have now found out Im likely to get any decent return on what i invest and so have decided to pull out of the scheme upon the advise of several different financial advisors who all told me its terrible.
Hay un seguimiento en las inversiones, trato personalizado y amable, respuesta rápida por parte de asesores, informes claros
I took out a policy with an advisor that later found out to be on the Offshore Alert and banned from operating in Thailand. Adam Clark Wealth manager of Devere Group/Broadgate. And would like to post this as he failed to disclose any of the fees of a pension transfer into PIMS with L&C as trustees and believe he is still doing this somewhere (illegally) in Thailand without disclosing the fees or his commission on the product and logicists and why RL360 have let this happen and operate with advisors that have been banned from operating. RL360 is independent, not linked to any one adviser, but is one of several international insurance portfolio bonds sold by international advisers. They do this largely to hide commissions they receive which are charged back to you over an initial charging period. Usually the full cost is around 10-11% including around 7% to the selling adviser. You pay these whether you complete the term or not. If you finish early, the penalties are the remaining initial fees. RL360 is Isle of Man which has some basic rules meaning when yours was sold, you must confirm you have seen a key information document (KIID) as part of the application which sets out the charges, but not in a clear way. So yes, charges are based on the initial payment, even if the current value is less. Once you are in, they get their 10-11% however long you decide to stay. MAKE SURE YOU SEE THE KIID WITH THE FEES. This product will never make you money unless used with out commission. ON A 10 YEAR PLAN ON PIMS THE BASE CHARGES ARE 0.067% PLUS THE ADMIN FEE. IF ITS 1% OVER 10 YEARS ESTABLISHMENT THE ADVISOR IS GETTING 7% UPFRONT. Also, having looked at the reviews on here on the 5 star ones are only IFAs whom sell the products and are getting extremely high commissions from the sales none from customers. Doesn't this tell you something?
I invested $1100 a month for the past 3.5 years and upon checking my portfolio, I am - 27% down. Only reason given is that ‘the market is unpredictable’. Of the $44k that I have invested, I will only get back $15k. This is one of the best scams around. The company makes bad investments on your behalf and then takes more than 60% of your investments as a cancellation fee, even though they are the reason for cancelling due to bad investments. They win either way. I strongly advise that you don’t go for this option as you will be crying later- mark my words. Put your hard earned money elsewhere, this isn’t worth it. Stay away, far away!!!!
Please do not take up a Quantum Policy investment. I was advised to do so (as a pension fund) and found after 7+ years of contributing between $400-700 a month that the policy value never went up, but always went down in worth. This led me to stop contributing to what was obviously an investment with negative dividends. I also withdrew as much of my money as I could at that time, with a lot of pushing through various bureaucratic procedures. I did so especially as the person who signed me up for the plan disappeared – several years in - apparently due to illness, with no replacement financial adviser in sight. Now 12 years on, the policy is still consistently in a downward trend, so I am trying to get out of it altogether and find that not only is there an exorbitant surrender value - but that I am also being told that some of the funds have been suspended. Subsequently, an investment that should be around $15,000 (give or take) is now said to be only about $8000 with a surrender value of $4000+ There are no words for my disappointment, especially when you consider that I could have made more money in a very basic savings account, even with a mere 0.025% interest rate. So, what then was the point of this Quantum policy investment plan, if all it has done is depreciate and depreciate and depreciate? How can it be said to contribute to my financial welfare, never mind my pension pot? Go figure!
Lamentable.
Worst service of any financial company. I phone twice asking for a P60 end of year Tax form to be told they hadn’t heard of it! I left a message but two weeks later they havnt replied. Now phoning again and on hold for 13 minutes but I’m not giving up.
RL 360 is a Scam i purchased a regular savings plan, i was not ever told about the surrender fees, which are absolutely insane. i put in 10k USD to the policy and once i surrender they took 7kusd from me. i am just happy i got out as soon as i did. Imagine contributing to this plan for a long period of time and to only find out later of the crazy fees you have to pay. DONT EVER INVEST IN THIS!! GET OUT NOW
My account got locked and there is no way for me to reset my password. Every time I reset my password the system sends me an email about my password reminder (instead of new password) and says that next time I login the system will ask me to reset my password. But still the same loop. No option to reset my password for over a week now. And the following number is showing incorrect when I try to call - +44 (0)1624 681682
Very slow to respond to emails 3 weeks so far with no reply to my questions about a current policy I have also chased them up very poor communication
I have been a client of RL360 for over 7 years now and I am perfectly happy with their service. My adviser recommended them when I was in Dubai and I am still with them. My returns are just fine and I am building a very nice pot for when I retire in a few years.
After reading all of these reviews on here and in other sites I am absolutely gutted that l have potentially lost my hard earned single female working wage on this. I've emailed the advisor asking for a surrender value which l now know won't be the 36k I've invested. I feel conned and upset.
Agree with everything that has been said in the other negative comments. It's the worst of all investments, you will end up losing money in 95% of the situations. It's borderline a scam. Fees are extremely high, it's ridiculous. I was several months in when I realized something was odd, I stopped immediately and lost everything I had saved so far. Felt so robbed, but glad I found out "early". But still wish I never started.

Jun 14,2024I've a Regular Savings Plan plan since 6 years and it suits very well to my needs. My advisor advised me some fundsmith and Polar capital funds which grew very well. He told me all the features of the plan and I didn't have any bad surprises. It's as expected and they are very reactive when I have some requests. I can see most of the bad comments on this website come from people who don't know in what they were investing or who have been bad advised for the funds. It's not RL360 fault but their advisor fault.
