Apr 05,2024From the start of our experience with Samson, it has been nothing but excellent service - the quality of the product is second to none and the installers did a fantastic job, even cleaning as they worked through the installation ensuring dust was kept to a minimum, even catching the drill dust as they installed the mounting brackets, both Mick and his colleague were very polite and attentive throughout. I can’t thank Samson enough for their care and dedication throughout. Kerry was so helpful and James the surveyor was a complete gentleman and Jaymi from the install team really excelled in bringing the installation forward. I am so excited by the awning and will have no hesitation in recommending Samson. Thank you all. Trish & Dermot

Customer service was excellent. Installation of the pergola by Micky and Jamie was fast and efficient and they left our patio in a clean condition. We love the pergola and are looking forward to using it.

I had a look around at the products displayed and spoke to a member of the sales team who guided me through products within my budget. I have since had a survey and looking forward to having my awning installed. Great service and staff, highly recommend.

Jan 14,2024Profesional assistance in researching options for a community building our Cricket pavilion/sports village hall, that is the (property of The Parish); and hence not our own building. The choices of installation were thus limited for us also, as budget was grant applied and manual operation on costs was also key, but good value on manual operation designs available and chosen. The selecting the material design and pattern colour was shared to committee as there was a wide choice. The Company regularly updated and refreshed quotes to accommodate changes and alternate length options of awning around existing windows heater outlets and supporting wall and the stock held options to give us a proffered choice. Installed quickly efficiently by the team on Friday 12/1/24.The awning clears existing guttering (lower roof concept), and offered increased height by the extended mounting Steel structural mounting brackets. Giving height clearances for taller personnel in our Sports team. The slope angle and a height of (6’8”) and thus set as such by the installation engineers also allows rain to run away to front left awning. A superb improvement for the Villages pavilion.

The team that installed our awning and heater were very experienced and got the job done well and cleaned away afterwards. They also spent time explaining exactly how the system worked. Sep 26,2023A very professional approach to our glass room and decking from start to finish. Oliver was extremely helpful, actually pointing out possible downsides as well as all the positives. Quite a long wait from ordering to installation, but that had been advised. Micky and Jamie arrived on the arranged day and after setting up, began assembly. With the Glass room, awning and decking, four days had been allowed and it was completed within that. They both work very methodically and quickly. The finished room is better than we expected and is in constant use. I can't praise Micky and Jamie enough. Micky had visited for the site survey and was full of useful tips prior to ordering. They both are approachable and no question was unanswered. Nice guys in general. I have no hesitation in recommending Samson, the whole experience was dealt with in a friendly, but business-like, manner.

Lee & Tim did the installation and were excellent - friendly, skilled and thorough. Explained everything thoroughly after fitting and left no mess. Would recommend.

Jun 26,2023We originally visited the showroom to get advice and see all the options of manufacturer, type/style materials etc. From the start the staff particularly Jessica were excellent and gave us first class attention. Delivery lead-in time was all as advised and the two installers, Chris and Lee were very professional. They were happy to address any questions we had whilst the installation was progressing, and on completion they explained some do's and don's on the basics of operation and maintenance. Apr 26,2024It is with huge disappointment I write this review. My husband and I had a Markilux awning and canopy fitted on 4th April 2024 and indeed after being chased to complete a Trust Pilot review the same day, gave them what we thought was a justified glowing review, see review from Dermot O’Neill. however:- Mickey and his colleague installed the remote controlled awning and canopy and before leaving gave a demonstration advising that there wasn’t a lot of solar power in the canopy (shade plus) function so just basically showed how it works and lowered only a little. Sadly that is the last time the canopy has worked (now 22 days ago). We contacted Samson the following Monday (8th April) and after a difficult conversation (it felt like we were being fobbed off) finally Jaymi agreed to send Mickey out to have a look. This happened and when Mickey saw that the canopy was completely dead said he would report back and take advice from Markilux. After chasing and chasing for an update Mickey came again on 16th April to charge the battery under the advice from Markilux in Germany using a piece of equipment they had sent him, this proved that the battery was completely dead and wasn’t holding charge. Since then we have been repeatedly told that Samson were doing everything they could to rectify the situation but never, on any occasion have we been given the courtesy of an update call, indeed they have never once contacted us and we have had to repeatedly call them with them promising to call us back with an update which has never happened. We are now on the 26th April and the installation has never worked to how it should do. We paid a lot of money for this system and up to now it appears that once Samson have got your money their after sales service is non existent, we paid a premium price for a premium product, where’s the premium service? Whilst writing this review I have just now received the first reply telephone call (all the other promised return calls didn't transpire), advising that Samson Company Director will call us on Monday - let’s wait and see!!!!
