Oct 18,2022After 24 years our two Ventolite 'side by side' full cassette awnings (3.5m and 4.0m) started to show their age, so we visited Samson Outdoor Living, Wellingborough to seek replacements. We were very impressed with Oliver Villette's advice and knowledge of the products, and it was wonderful to discover that we were able to have one 7.0m awning. Oliver demonstrated the quality and showed us the design of the Markilux 1600 awning, and this is what we ordered. Oliver completed the survey very promptly and the awning is now installed. We are delighted with the product, and we were very pleased with the efficiency and helpfulness of the whole Team at Samson. Thank you.

Oct 14,2022with hindsight I would not pick this company to supply my simplicity glass veranda. It all started well with sales bending over backwards saying we can get the design perfect for our needs but after ordering I felt let down and on the tundra after installation. The actual design was actually the easiest for them to have a quick and easy installation and not what I actually wanted in terms of full external coverage. The installation was carried out by contractors travelling from Yorkshire so not the local workman I was expecting and found them a little off hand with me during the process at the end of the installation the guttering downpipes was not as I was expecting it to be and had not been advised of this and the incorrect parts supplied to them. This was never addressed properly by Samson Awnings and was sorted by my landscape gardener. After a few weeks a leakage of the veranda and guttering profile which required several call backs from the Yorkshire installers who eventually were not able to resolve the leakages properly and further communication via several emails and phone calls with Samson was ignored. I eventually contacted the manufacturers (Millwood Group) of the simplicity veranda asking why my veranda was leaking and if it was a design fault. They contacted Samson asking them to resolve my issue but they never replied and I was finally put in touch with a new company now selling and installing verandas as Samson apparently no longer do them! The new company was actually the original installers who sent some young men round to correctly seal the guttering and leaking pane. This held good for a few months but is now leaking again. Not that happy but I do love my veranda just a bit if a nightmare experience and defiantly not well looked after by Samson!!

Oct 01,2022I purchased a Weinor Opal awning with all the bells and whistles, which represented a massive investment for me so I was very careful where I spend my money. Samson Awnings was an excellent choice after inquiring with a few other providers. Their team, Oli V. and the rest, worked hard to ensure I was happy with the purchase and installation, and had also kept informed at every stage.

Our awning is of German manufacture and good quality but at a price that represents great value for money - and I did get plenty of other quotes ! I have no hesitation in recommending Samson to anyone looking for an awning for their home. Special thanks to Daniel and Mickey who ensured everything went totally smoothly.

The whole experience with Samson has been professional and efficient from start to finish and I would highly recommend them. They are not the cheapest but the products are top quality and should last for years to some. You certainly get what you pay for. We just need some sunny weather now!

Feb 23,2022This is our 3rd awning from Samson and we have been really happy with all of them. Their main purpose is to extend our eating and drinking area so that our visitors can look out over the Somerset countryside. We are in a very exposed location so they have to be sturdy. The latest canopy was actually only new canvas as the old one was looking distinctly grubby and a long overdue service. Good communication and speedy replies. Two day installation and the crew were really great, had to wait a while for delivery but that is life at the moment, but well worth the wait.

Dec 13,2021Slight delay to my review but very happy with my purchase of a Samson G6 Glass Veranda 7250mm Width x 2500mm Projection in Anthracite Grey. This was a DIY installation (I am a fairly competent DIYer) and only a couple of hiccups. One was the supply of a wrong part this was rectified quickly and efficiently by the Samson team, the other my own fault. Would recommend without hesitation to others seeking a great veranda at a great price

Nov 17,2021Straightforward process getting the quote and the surveyor was excellent with explaining options objectively. A little wait for the install but to be expected these days. The guys on the day were very efficient and tidy, roof installed in half a day and the area left neat. Roof's been up almost a month and still v happy with it.

Nov 12,2021The product is really excellent and the people too. We just had a damaged control handle when the awning was installed which took many weeks and a lot of phone calls to get sorted. If it wasn't for this then it would have been a well-deserved 5 stars.

Jul 16,2021Good sales process. The man who came (unlike a competitor) listened and addressed what we wanted. No hard sell tactics. And it was cheaper. Installation date was reached by negotiation and brought forward from the original date. On the day they arrived on time. Unfortunately the long (6m) awning was delayed a couple of hours, but they prepared as much as they could so the team (4 of them!) quickly got the job done once it arrived. A pleasant and respectful team. The awning itself works well though it has a rather washed-out faded appearance. I can only imagine the publicity photos are colour enhanced.
