My doctor had told me to get this as I think she couldn't prescribe it herself as I believed NHS did not have it on prescription (I don't know for sure if that is the case tho, & as she had prescribed tablets for the main condition I had gone to the doctor for anyway, & the eye condition (a Stye on my inner lid ), was my secondary condition.
