My husband has advanced Parkinson’s and can no longer, on his own, get onto and out of the Sitting Spiritually swing seat we bought 10 years ago. This chair is perfect for him - beautiful oak wood, good support and arm rests, totally sturdy, comfortable cushions for seat and back and superbly crafted. All in all a wonderful addition to our garden and a reminder also of the lovely people, Martin and Celia, who provide such an excellent and personal service.

Aug 23,2022If you want a quality swinging garden seat then there is none better than one from Sitting Spiritually of Lyme Regis. Don't be put off by the price which at first seems to be quite expensive but you certainly get what you pay for and soon the initial outlay will be a distant memory clouded by a quality product that is built to last a lifetime. We couldn't be more delighted with our Tranquility seat and it really makes a fabulous addition to our garden. We visited their delightfully beautiful show garden on a whim whilst visiting Lyme Regis and were so impressed we ended up ordering one straight away. It is a small personal family business with the ethos of giving the best customer service possible, which is something they achieved with ease.

The team at Sitting Spiritually kindly agreed to make and engrave the Spring RHS memorial bench and to hold onto it until it was time. Sadly just a week later he died. The bench is beautiful & my mother adores it.

Bit pricey but lovely quality, made to last and as always you get what you pay for. In the long run, given the pleasure our swing seat brings us and its expected life, well worth it.

The last Sitting Spiritually swing seat lasted many years despite hanging from a tree and suffering a lot of damp, so although the price is not low, we know we are going to get great value out of it.

From the changes of design for the engraving and ammonites to a last minute order for additional cushions nothing id too much for them. And the swing seat is a lovely addition to the garden and is fast becoming the most sought after place to sit and listen to the birds of an evening.

Apr 20,2022Our swirl bench is beautiful, it was commissioned as a thank you and recognition for the hard work our staff team have delivered during the pandemic at Yeovil Hospital. We are often faced with fairly institutional furniture in the health sector but this bench just shouts out craftsmanship and high quality design. We were able to include words as part of the bench, carved into the seating area. Really pleased with this professional, handmade and high quality piece of furniture which I know staff, visitors and patients will enjoy.

From initial idea, through placing the commission to delivery , assembly and follow up the service everything was excellent. The swing seat is a piece of craft which we wanted for our new Japanese style garden and it lived up to all our expectations. A thoroughly professional service. Martin and the team stayed in touch throughout, sent photos and explained after care. Delivery was excellent and it was reassembled on site. I first saw and sat in a “Sitting spiritually seat” at RHS Rosemoor and decided this would be a retirement gift to myself for our new home. I Whilst the garden is small it makes a wonderful focal point and ensures we relax in the garden for years to come. Wonderful swing seat wonderful service.

Sitting on the chair gently rocking back and forth in the sunshine whilst listening to the birds is so calming that I can understand why the company has spiritually in its name. Mar 25,2023I found it easy to ask questions etc before making a purchase and we took our time choosing what we wanted with no pressure sales at all. Our trilogy set was made and delivered exactly as promised and the delivery guys were great too. We love our swing, its a very special big purchase of course but should give everyone years of pleasure. It's also great that in years to come SS can take away the set and rejuvenate if required, other than that just a good clean once a year.
