Dec 22,2024After years of research and reading various reviews, along with a recommendation from a couple of friends, I finally mustered the courage to get dental implants. To start, I visited a UK dentist to get an idea of a treatment plan and understand what to expect. However, I ultimately decided to travel to Turkey for the procedure, as cost played a significant role in my decision. I know there’s a lot of information online and in the news, but I believe it’s important to make your own decision. I was nervous about going to the dentist here in the UK, let alone abroad, but I was determined. After contacting two dental clinics in Turkey for comparisons, Smile Dental Turkey stood out. They were quick to respond to all my (many!) questions, which gave me the confidence to move forward. With flights and hotel booked, I was on my way. Upon arrival, I was collected at the airport and taken straight to the hotel. That evening, I received a warm welcome message and confirmation of my appointment time for the following day, along with the private transfer arrangements. Monday morning came, and my heart was pounding as the transfer took me to the clinic. The building was impressive—a large, modern facility. I was greeted by staff (whose names I regretfully can’t recall—sorry!) and then met by Denis, who explained the process. The clinic itself was like a 5-star hotel—modern, sparkling clean, and welcoming. The first step was an X-ray, after which I was escorted upstairs to a private lounge complete with a TV, drinks, and snacks. The main reception area also offered coffee, tea, and refreshments. After a short wait, I had before-and-after photos taken, which was handled professionally. Next, I met with the dental surgeon for a thorough and gentle assessment. My treatment plan was discussed, and the cost was confirmed. There was no pressure to proceed immediately, and I was given the option to take time to think it over. However, I already knew what I wanted, so we agreed to start treatment the following day. I returned to the hotel for the rest of the day and received a text that evening confirming my appointment and transfer time for the next morning. Tuesday arrived, and I was collected on time for my appointment. Upon arrival, I was taken to my private room, where the team kept me informed about the procedures, putting me at ease. I had six implants placed, along with two sinus lifts and two bone grafts. While I won’t say I felt nothing, there was no pain—just some discomfort from the injections. The process was far smoother than I anticipated. After the surgery, I was able to relax in the private lounge before being taken back to the hotel when I felt ready. The next day, I returned for a follow-up to check the implants and stitches, which were healing well. Although I experienced some swelling and bruising, it was entirely expected. Now, I have to wait around six months for everything to heal, and I’m excited for the final results. Having worn a denture for 42 years, I can’t wait to see the transformation and enjoy the benefits of the implants. Overall, the experience was amazing, straightforward, and highly professional. I would wholeheartedly recommend Smile Dental Turkey to anyone considering dental treatment abroad.

Dec 19,2024As a lone woman travelling I was nervous about going on my own. Turned out - never needed to be at all. Staff all very welcoming. Shuttle drivers excellent, from airport pickup to hotel drop off, and appointments collections in between. Consultation fab. Communication regarding appointments and pickup times via WhatsApp all excellent. Treatments second to none. Clinic immaculate. Dentists really lovely people along with their support staff. Should I need more work doing in the future I shall be returning. And the last thing - totally affordable for exactly the same treatments as in UK including the exact same brands, used in over 180 countries worldwide. Can't recommend them highly enough. 5*

Dec 18,2024Definitely recommend this clinic, they are very customer oriented. Wecoming staff makes you feel very comfortable. Shuttle service drivers were very professional. High tech equipment for exarays. Consultation explains what work you may need, never pushy, gives you choses. Dentist very professional using modern equipment. We had a excellent experience, and will come back when we need dental work.

The clinic is lovely and looks more like a 5star hotel when you walk in. The service is second to none, I am so pleased with how my treatment went and would definitely recommend.

Dec 06,2024The service from the dental centre was amazing from start to finish. My initial enquiry was responded to very thoroughly before I booked. The centre arranged by hotel, pick ups from the airport and to and from my appointments which made me very comfortable as I was travelling alone. I was looked after very well and informed along all steps of the process. I was initially nervous about the outcome of how my teeth would look on having crowns in Turkey but I relayed my requests to my patient coordinator and my results were natural looking teeth with minor adjustments to the position my real teeth which was exactly what I asked for and I could not be any happier with them. The removal of teeth was also done by a skilled dentist and was pain free and I have had no issues at all. Everyone who I have shown is very impressed with the outcome and I would highly recommend this dental centre if you are considering Antalya dentists.

The hotel - clinic transfer service was incredibly convenient and always punctual, making the entire process smooth from the start. I had tooth implants placed in my upper jaw, and the procedure was handled with great care and precision. The staff were consistently professional, polite, and attentive, ensuring I felt comfortable throughout. The clinic itself is spacious, modern, and well-equipped. Dec 03,2024I had my 22 crowns May 2022. I said when they were fitted 2 teeth felt weird , too shott up to my gums, sharp. I was told it was my gums and they would move down due to swelling . 3 months after I rang and said I still felt sharp edge with my tongue. I had no response. Now 2.5 years later I have tooth sensitivity, my 2 no 1 and 2 teeth are too small . 2 of them have fell out at the back of my mouth . Ive constant tooth sensitivity now. My son, daughter, and 6 friends have had their teeth done at a much better dentist in Antalya and I’ll go back next year to get my teeth put right . AVOID

Clinic are up to date and staff makes you feel welcome. Professional attitude and job they do amazing. They do react to any of your concerns swiftly and provides the best option available to satisfy the client's needs. Makes you feel like part of their family! We were amazed with the final results and did recomend this clinic to our friends without any hesitation.

Nov 30,2024I was recommended Smile Dental by a friend so I was as confident as I could be that it was a reputable organisation. I was also pleased to see that most of the results in the before and after pictures on their website looked like people had beautiful natural teeth rather than super white ‘insta’ teeth. The whole process with Smile Dental was amazing. They are a really caring and professional team. Everyone from the patient coordinators, thé dentists and dental assistants and thé administration team are friendly, professional and really care that you are delighted. The dental studios are super high tech and spotlessly clean and the individual patient lounges are a great touch. Everything is organised to a tee….the airport pickup, the hotel, and the daily transfers to the dental studio is 100% arranged perfectly and the communication is timely and clear. And my results……I couldn’t be happier with my new teeth. They look like a beautiful natural set pearly whites. The team encouraged me to choose a natural shade of white but ultimately the choice is yours. They also help you choose the best shape of teeth for your perfect smile. Everyone who has seen my new teeth has said virtually the same thing ‘amazing improvement but very natural looking’ which is exactly what I was hoping for! Unfortunately for me, i had to have some extractions and require 2 more visits to have a couple of implants and final crowns but I have a temporary denture to wear in the meantime. I honestly cannot wait to get them done! There are many dental studios to choose from in Antalya so it’s important to do your research. I feel so lucky to have chosen Smile Dental and would encourage you to choose them to. I hope you will be as delighted as I am. And expect to make some new friends too! There will be people in your hotel who are also doing the same thing as you, so you will have lots to talk about!

Nov 23,2024Just arrived home from having crowns done at Smile Dental and I am so happy with the result. My partner also got her teeth done 3 years ago at Smile Dental. If you are petrified of the dentist like me, these guys are your people. They make you feel so comfortable, they are gentle and make sure you walk away with the perfect result. The clinic itself is beautiful, extremely clean and you are allocated your own room which is lovely. We had a 4 hour wait at the dentist one afternoon, due to some alterations. They offered us a lift to a huge shopping centre near by and picked us up when we were ready to come back, they absolutely do their best for you in every way in such a relaxed atmosphere. With many choices of dental clinics in Antalya, based on mine and many others experiences, I definitely recommend Smile Dental. Thank you again to all of you. Lois and Sarah.

I needn’t have been concerned, the experience from start to finish has been fantastic, great communication at every step of the way and I am delighted with the final result (two front implants and a back bridge). They have welcomed me and treated like the only person in the building despite the fact they were busy.I’ve noticed every patient is treated this way which also is an important aspect. Before the procedure they have answered all the questions I’ve had prepared (before Ive even asked!) . They have always had an advice regarding recovery and every step of procedure! Saved the teeth I thought will require extraction and gave me a beautiful smile. Can not recommend enough! Smile Dental has the next level of professional care and staff! ALL staff so pleasent, helpful and professional. Transfers from airport and hotels seamless. Communication excellent throughout. Clinic immaculate, state of the art equipment. Rest rooms well received. Totally would recommend this clinic to friends, certainly made the right decision ....thank you all 😀

Nov 14,2024I have just returned from having root canal and 20 crowns with Smile Dental. I went with my partner and we were looked after throughout the entire experience. Everything was well organised and went smoothly and as they said it would, I wasn’t left questioning anything or waiting around. The clinic itself is beautiful with private waiting rooms with free drinks and a place to rest between treatments, it really felt like luxury. I had so much free time to have a lovely holiday, and I really felt the care from all of the dentists and everyone who works at Smile. I’ll be returning next year for my check up and my anxiety about going has disappeared, I’m looking forward to it! The hotel is wasn’t the best in terms of facilities or cleanliness but managed to sort most of our issues with reception. It did the job for 6 days but improving that would make the whole experience more enjoyable. Wasn’t enough to put a dampener on the holiday though! I’ve already referred 3 friends to the clinic who are about to book in, I can’t recommend it enough. I’m pain free and I’m happy, couldn’t ask for more. My new teeth are beautiful and natural, exactly what I wanted. Thank you!

Nov 13,2024Just finished at my first visit to SD. Coming from the UK I know how daunting it can be, right up to the moment you arrive at the doors to SD. From then on it's just a great experience with the absolute experts in their field. Airport collection in a luxury car with TV, WIFI, drinks etc. I had quite a challenging mouth with crooked teeth, and I was informed by the brilliant Deniz who is a serious operator, super clear in his guidance and what the dentist would like to do, simply excellent at his job. You're then guided to a private room where you can relax and check over your treatment plan and sign your contracts before paying and then whisked away to begin. Day 1 I had teeth shaved down (0 pain) and a few hours wait for a temporary to be made. Contrary to some here my temporary looked and felt absolutely fine no discomfort at all. Day 3 - permanent crowns fitted, now this was a bit uncomfortable with them pushing the tooth into the gums, no pain no gain. They fitted pretty good straight away so I had some small adjustment on day 5 but that's all. The teeth were stunning. Day 5- bone graft and sinus lift. Nothing to say here. 0 pain, slightly swollen for a day. Ready for and implant on my next visit in 5 or 6 months. Thanks to everyone at SD, Look forward to seeing everyone again. Oh and one final thing, good luck Fiona you're going to be an amazing mum. Ryan
