Apr 30,2022SM Pets came to my rescue after I had been let down by another pet sitter at short notice, over the bank holiday weekend. Julia & team were super friendly & reassuring and went out of their way to find someone available for me. Amy looked after my 1 year old golden doodle & 2 cats for 5 days. Amy was fantastic, kept me updated with pictures & videos and kept the house clean and tidy. I would happily use SM Pets services again in future.

Apr 23,2022We’ve used this pet sitting service twice now and both times experienced excellent people and a peaceful and relaxing holiday, not having to worry about our cat who was left behind at home!. We didn’t want our cat to feel unloved and uncared for while we were away and using Julia and her team gave us peace of mind that she was being well looked after and fed and we also received regular updates so we didn’t have to worry about her at all!

Feb 19,2022Happy to have Laura of precious pets taking our Olly for walks and giving him attention during our working day. Makes us feel happy and less worried about him while we're not about. Precious pets provides us great communication including pictures and video to a whatsapp group which we massively appreciate. I would recommend them based on the service received so far.

Feb 11,2022David from SMpreciouspets has been amazing with our dog Ripley. She has had quite a few health issues and is on lots of medication and this has never been an issue for them at all. They have been so wonderful with her and I always have peace of mind when leaving them in our house looking after our precious little Ripley.

Feb 07,2022The two sitters we've had for our puppy have been lovely (and punctual!). Communication with everyone involved has been great. Our puppy is still wary of strangers in his space, but I know that I don't need to worry about leaving him with such lovely sitters for an occasional night out!

Feb 04,2022I started using smpreciouspets at the beginning of January 2022 for my three dogs. The whole experience from the initial enquiry response to having Laura and David coming regularly now has been so positive. I had a response within a few hours of my initial email enquiry, and within a few days I had the initial visit to try to set up regular home sitting. I use the service a couple of times a week when I have longer days at work and don't want to leave the dogs on their own for that long. Since I have started having David and Laura coming to sit, the difference in my dogs is visible. They are calmer and happy when I get home on the day and overall. It was a problem before I started using using them that especially one of my dogs was anxious after a long day without me being home, and it spilled over into other days too. This has much improved. It is always worrying giving a key and having someone coming into your home when you are not there, but I can only recommend Smpreciouspets as completely trustworthy. They send me photos of the dogs while they are there and tell me how they are and what they have been doing with them. I am delighted I have started using them.

Feb 01,2022Having a reactive rescue, as well as another protective dog, has meant that it has been increasingly hard to find anyone willing to board our 2 girls alone. When we first heard about SM pet services, we weren't sure how we felt about someone moving into our home and looking after our dogs. But we have been so delighted, and can't imagine ever going back to dog boarding. Julia is always so professional, and bends over backwards for us to try and make dates work, even at short notice. Karen and Laura look after our girls like her own, walking them separately and seeing to their every need. Even letting Mabel sleep on their bed! They also sends regular photos and updates on how they are doing, and clearly provide lots of cuddles and attention. They all make us feel that we can genuinely relax and enjoy our holidays, without the worry of how our girls are being looked after. So much so, that I'm not sure the dogs are that happy when we come home!

Jan 18,2022We have a small dog who was rescued from Romania. Molly is very nervous with strangers and finding someone to care for her was difficult. SM Precious were recommended through Facebook and I have really never looked back. When Nicki first came to meet Molly she was so calm and patient, and eventually Molly was taking treats from her and we went for a walk with Nicki holding the lead. Nicki has now popped in to sit with Molly on 3 occasions and each time Molly is calmer and has allowed Nicki to take her for a walk. I am absolutely delighted with the service I have received from both Julia and Nicki, and would have no hesitation in recommending them and using them for as long as possible. SM Precious pets is the best find ever and I am sure Molly agrees.

Jan 17,2022It was a pleasure to deal with smpreciouspets. Julia who runs it was very friendly and helpful. All details were explained carefully as what to expect from the dog sitter. We were so happy with Jane who looked after our Golden Retriever. We had never had a pet sitter before. Jane came to see us and meet Bertie and get details of our house and how things worked. It was very clear Jane loves dogs and is very experienced in handling them. Jane sent us photos everyday when we were away and updates. Upon return Bertie was very happy and the house immaculate. Jane is coming back again this year. I am delighted to have found the service

Jan 07,2022One of the hardest things to do is to entrust your fur babies to a stranger even if it is for a happy event.....my wedding!! Both my pups are rescues and on the nervous side so it was very important for me to have someone who was able to stay in our home with our dogs so at least they would be in familiar surroundings. SM Precious Pets were perfect! Very thorough in everything they needed to know about our dogs and were accommodating with my request that it be a female sitter simply because my pups are better with women than men. We were able to meet Dana beforehand so we knew exactly who was looking after our dogs and we (and the dogs) took to her immediately! I highly recommend them to other pet owners and we will not hesitate to use them again in the future ourselves when off on our honeymoon!

Jun 14,2022We had Natasha sit for our two cockapoos for a week while we went on holiday and we couldn't have been happier with the service. She kept us updated with pictures and videos from their walks and when we returned it was like they'd had a holiday as well. Our dogs have bad separation anxiety and can't be left home alone which has made finding care difficult in the past but Julia and her team were more than happy to accommodate our requirements. We're already booking in our dates for next summer!
