Feb 26,2023We got our box rather quickly . I tried several kinds of treats . I was looking for a healthier sweet tooth snack option for my family . So I tried the Jordan almonds, chocolate covered almonds , lemony covered almonds as well as brightly colored chocolate sunflower seeds and a couple others . All were delightful and fresh . I plan to use the colorfully chocolate coated sunflower seeds in the oatmeal ranger cookie recipe in lieu of m and m’s in an attempt to be just a touch healthier. Warning : if you try the lemony covered almonds you will be hooked! They are like a miracle In your mouth , a true party on the palate! I have not tried the natural almonds, pecans and walnuts just yet as my jars still contain some . I am hoping to purchase seeds and nuts direct from farmers as I do my meat products . As a way of eating better and supporting the amazing people who grow and tend to what we eat !
