Jul 11,2019Product availability and shipping are ok. However, when I return and cancel an item (right after I received it) due to an issue with the product, I got charged 15%. I ordered a G.Loomis IMX Pro blue fishing rod. After receiving the pole, I realized the tip guide was offset with the rest of the guides on the rod so I decided to return the rod to TackleDirect and cancelled it. I did not receive my full refund. I still buy product from TackleDirect only if I can't find any other stores having the products that I am looking for. American Legacy is my first choice and they will give me a full refund if I am not happy with the their products.

Jul 10,2019I've placed and order for 2 rods for 576.5$ ! 1 in stock and 1 in backorder...few days after I see the rod on backorder is not available anymore. I go to my account and I see that my order is not what I've ordered !!!! I've ordered 2 rods and now there is a rod and 55 softbaits !!! (but I have well received the order confirmation by mail with the 2 rods !). I send a mail to know what the problem is and they say me the rod is on back order until the end of july. I ask for a refund of this rod and to ship the other. Since this, I have no respond to my multiple mails...since 10 days...I'm afraid they send me the softbaits which I've never ordered rather than the rod

Jul 10,2019I ordered an 11 foot Star surf rod and matching reel. I choose standard free shipping and received both within 3 days. I was very impressed with how well the rod was packed in a very heavy cardboard tube. Based on my experience I would buy from Tackle Direct again.

Jul 11,2019The only reason I don’t give it five stars is because my order was confused at first and I had to call. But once it was explained that a new employee had only mildly fouled up, their customer service was excellent and delivery was perfect. No complaints for this company.
