Sep 25,2019We booked onto the Victorian Vintage train with picnic hamper and wine. It was a great experience with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Also great for photo/video opportunities of the train as it backs up and rushes back into view whist we watch. Staggering scenery up at the end of the line beyond Nant Gwernol. Superb day out.

Sep 19,2019We spent a wonderful afternoon on the little train. We paid for first class which was great. The views are wonderful and for my Husband and I it was a time to forget the real world. At Talyllyn Stations there is a lovely shop and café and the toilets are very good. the same at Aberganolwyn where you can stretch your legs for about 20 mins on the return journey. A great memory.

I was happy I could bring along the whole family, including my two labradors...they loved it too...being admired by a lot of dog-loving passengers. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much bother for them- excellent! Thank you to all the staff:) I’d included the cream tea in the train journey package, and was pleasantly surprised with an old-fashioned layout of the scones etc It was all in all a lovely experience into the olden days travelling! Loved it!
