To our surprise, we found that the bed was cheaper (and better!) than the ones we had looked at in the big chain stores. We have had the bed several months now and do not regret buying from this local family firm.

Dec 23,2023Went in there just to try out some memory foam mattresses and explained what our budget was, literally lied on the first one & fell in love straightaway. Customer service was really nice, honest and knew what they were on about which made it a really easy experience. Delivery was excatly what they said it would be- spot on, couldn't fault this local company in any way & will definitely use in the future.

Nov 30,2023We needed a new mattress after trying out two with 200 night trial periods. We saw the Bed Specialist advertised in a local magazine and went to see what they had. Although we were the only customers at that time, we were very well looked after with lots of information provided and several mattresses to try out. The ordering and delivery was straight forward and done in a personable way. We were kept informed on the day of delivery and the guys were polite and respectful of the property when carrying the mattress upstairs. The shop is tucked away but look for them and you will have a good experience!

Mattress was bought into the house unpacked, put on the bed and the old mattress taken away. Two guys who delivered the mattress couldn’t have been more helpful

Nov 16,2023Nick at The Bed Specialist was very knowledgeable about the various beds and explained about them in a clear way which was easy to understand. He was happy for me to spend a lot of time trying the different options so I could be sure that it would be suitable for me and even made me a very nice cup of coffee while I considered. When I was placing my order he immediately told me that although the bed itself would be delivered in about 6 weeks the headboard would take considerably longer, so giving me the chance to change that part of my order if I wished although I decided to wait for the one I really liked. Delivery of the bed was actually quicker than expected although they would have been happy to store it for a while if I had not been ready to accept delivery. The delivery staff were friendly and helpful and were careful to remove their shoes so as not to mark my new bedroom carpet. All in all the whole experience was pleasurable and efficient from start to finish.
