Jun 08,2024Jemma made the whole process of choosing a wig relaxed and easy. The follow up fitting and care instructions were equally relaxed and I was able to ask all the 'daft' questions whizzing round in my head. I also had a plan for coping with hair regrowth and care once my chemotherapy treatments finish.

Jun 07,2024From making my first phone call which lead to a one to one meeting with their wig & hair specialist (Karen) I have felt safe, well supported & confident in this company going forward. Everyone involved in the process from the guy who answered the initial phone call to finally speaking to Karen always demonstrated a caring attitude & genuine willingness to want to support me during my difficult journey ahead. Karen has her own history of health concerns & as a result was able to offer an additional level of knowledge & skill along the way. The advice she gave really did make a difference. The amount of styles & types of wigs out there to choose from is so confusing for someone like me & I didn’t want to make an expensive mistake. I am so pleased I chose this company as I received excellent advice on what would & would not suit me from someone who really knew her subject. Karen allowed me to try on various styles & colours then ordered various wig styles to choose from again before I made my final choice. I know I would have chosen the wrong one if left to my own skills of selection : an expensive mistake which I could ill afford to make.

May 20,2024Further update from 4th March. Had an horrendous experience on the phone after being contacted by The Wonderful Wig Company. After sending back a wig that was far too small and a counterfeit one at that, the woman on the phone continued to berate me and talk over me all through the conversation. This left me feeling quite distressed and shaken. I am now reporting this company to Trading Standards as the product they tried to sell to me was not as described, which is why I returned it for a full refund. I would recommend that people shop elsewhere as this is not a friendly or understanding company at all. Given that I was informed that they supply the NHS, do they talk to NHS customers this way too. They have got a lot to answer for. Avoid this company at all costs. UPDATE TO WONDERFUL WIGS RESPONSE: I can categorically say that in my estimations and that of three others the wig DID look to be counterfeit and was of poor quality. Of course another wig company would back you up, after all you are both in the same business. As for finding the right fit. Your description of the fit for the wig was of average size. This was incorrect. You also DID NOT send out FOUR wigs to me aiming to find the perfect match, these were in fact TWO different wigs from the one that was sent back to you for a refund because it DID NOT match the description on your website. Do get your facts right before trying to make it look good in your favour!! On trying to access my account to put the TRUTH on here, it appears I have been BLOCKED from your website. SO much for honesty eh? Regarding the measurements for the wig. You tried to say that the wig measured 54-56cm. My friend and I measured the wig no less than FOUR times and the measurements came up as: 46-48cm which is indeed very much smaller than an average size wig. As for treating your customers with the upmost care and respect, is that why one of your staff absolutely shouted down the phone at me and spoke over me when I was trying to explain everything, sending me into a full blown panic attack? I have never come across a more unprofessional company as yours. When it comes to delicate situations as someone needing a wig, your overall approach leaves a lot to be desired. I did get a refund for the wig from my bank after I'd explained the situation and your whole attitude towards trying to get a refund. I would not recommend your company ever.
