Mar 11,2017I received a tie this Christmas as a gift that I knew I wouldn't wear. So after I looked on the website and saw that there were many ties I would wear, I called Paul, in Customer Service to set up the exchange. He took down all the pertinent information and assured me that my return would be credited back to me with a gift certificate, and the bearer of the gift would not know I had returned the tie. So I followed his directions for returning the tie explicitly. Many weeks went by with no emailed gift certificate for the tie. I called back today with all of my information and again spoke with Paul Martin, who also told me he was a manager in the Customer Service Department. As he looked through the notes on the account, he remembered the situation as he could read the notes he took 8 weeks ago. And at the end of reading his notes, it looked like whoever processed the return had credited the cost of the gift back to the original giver. I lost my temper and let this guy have with both barrels blazing the F-bomb. and of course slammed the phone down. I also sent an email to Ties.com through their system with a verbatim copy of my original review. Paul, however was not finished and he set to further investigate what went wrong. I got a very nice email from him later that day explaining that although it looked like they had credited the purchaser, it had been transacted through a second party seller, and looked like it had not been finalized. He further went on to offer me a gift certificate for a greater purchase amount and assured me that the person who gave me the tie originally did not know from anyone on their end that I had in fact, sent her tie back. This was great news, and the offer of the gift certificate was accepted. I went on line this last Monday night, and purchased two ties. Today, I received the ties I ordered, and they are beautiful. I would like to thank Paul Martin and his company for going the extra mile and changing what I feared was a disaster into a great experience. And accomplishing that in 7 days from the original complaint. They did a great job, and handled a difficult customer with patience and professionalism.

Mar 11,2017I received by latest order yesterday (March 9) the Musical Rainbow Tie (item #XR520373 $25.00). I am VERY pleased with it. I have been a Ties.com customer for many years and their selection keeps getting better. I am an ambassador and volunteer with my local symphony and can hardly wait to wear it to the next board meeting. I have a lanyard with a very similar design. Mar 28,2017So I ordered these expecting some okay cufflinks but when I wore them to school on Thursday like I do every Thursday I got five compliments and about 10 other people asked where I got them. They look really nice and are of high quality, I would recommend these to anyone who wants to show support of the GOP/ their country.
