Jun 21,2013Great service. Great Food. Great Rooms full value for money with a good selection of Wines and Beers and all in a great location. I would not consider any other hotel on the Island. Staff friendly and efficient. Booking is easy and straight forward.

Jun 21,2013The hotel we were relocated to was nice enough but not what we were expecting. It appeared the Lawn Hotel had been under refurbishment for some time therefore it would have been nice to be informed we had been relocated prior to our arrival

Jun 21,2013Linda and I enjoyed our stay. We were graciously greeted and welcomed. Comfortable room and bed with all the amenities. Excellent breakfasts and good conversations with both hosts and other guests. I'd go there again.

Jun 21,2013Absolutely love this place. It's like a home from home so welcoming and friendly I'd recommend anybody to stay here. Decent size rooms, comfortable beds, home cooked grub and great relaxed surroundings loved it.

Jun 21,2013Just returned from a lovely overnight in Haltwhistle, Centre of Britan, Nick and Nette made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived and their info. on local area and eating places was invaluable esp. Milecastle Inn close to Hadrian's Wall. .Our room was scrupulously clean with comfortable beds, lovely bed linen,tea tray and TV . The immaculate ensuite was modern and spotless.Breakfast of fruit platters, yoghurts, juices, croissants and toast was delicious and cooked breakfasts were available on request. This is a very special place to live and we happily recommend it to others. Thank you Nick and Nette.

Jun 21,2013Friendly welcome by owners, free upgrade to a lovely suite. Every need catered for nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful setting. Breakfast had an extensive choice every taste catered for. Would definitely recommend a visit and would love to return at a later date.

Jun 21,2013I would highly recommend this b&b to anyone. I am one of those people who never trusts reviews and worries if people's wants are different from mine - but I can't see how you can go wrong with this place. I can also vouch for the restaurant - we had dinner on one of the nights of our stay and it was brilliant. Looking forward to my next trip to Oxford I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Vicky

Jun 21,2013Biker friendly, town centre(ish) hotel. Staff fantastic, rooms okay. Clean, warm room, cold beer. Looked after my bike(Triumph), and me & my wet gear. 'Janice' is a gem. Thanks.

Jun 21,2013I stayed here with my mum who's 68 and to be honest we were both apprehensive because it was classed as a hostel/budget accommodation but found it to be anything but. The room was well worth the money. The only bad thing I would say was the bathroom wasn't as clean as it could be (hairs etc). But to our surprise we also had a mini breakfast included in the price which was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful and if another great offer comes up we'd love to stay again.

Jun 21,2013Hi, I've stayed in the Kasbah for the last four years and the online booking procedure is a doddle .Absolutely painless. The guest house is nice , and the staff are welcoming. Bit noisy at weekend but I just stay down with them. 5 out of 5

The Green Dragon
Jun 21,2013We had stayed at the Green Dragon once before and we found it very comfortable with a nice double room and everything provided including a table with all the blends of hot drinks and homemade cookies. We realised that the room was not en suite but did not fine that to be a problem. Breakfast the next morning was excellen and we enjoyed all the home made items. Would certainly return at a future date.
