He site was was to use to locate suitable accommodation at a good price.
Guest house is very modernly decorated with excellent facilities in an ideal location and greeeeat breakfast yum yum
Room clean but main area of my review is based on the breakfast . My English cooked was lacking in mushrooms tomatoes , and I like black pudding of which I didn't have any . And didn't have choice of white or brown toast .
Affordable room was good food was good as we were on 3rd floor lift was not always working
Basic. Too close for comfort with other guests. Host very friendly and nothing inherently wrong as long as you're not someone who likes own space, like me.
We were greeted by Scott who did everything that he could to make our stay pleasurable Would not hesitate to stay again Teddies were a nice touch
Smelly rooms, one on the ground floor right next to the noisy bar, horrid plastic pod bathroom, barely-there curtains let the light in, somebody doing their ironing in the breakfast room.
A very friendly landlady and beautifully appointed rooms make this an outstanding B&B. The breakfast was excellent as well and cooked to order. Great value for money and a good location at the heart of the Peak district.
Although the photos on the website were appealing, the truth was appalling. Bad odour in all areas. Dirty bathroom floor walls sink and toilet. Bleach would have helped. Hole in the bathroom door that looked like it had been head butted- hense the hair still in the crack!! Litter under the bed. Torn sheet on bed. Hardly any staff. Would not recommend this place to a hobo!
good hotel nice people
I've booked a stay at this venue before and had a great stay so I was made up to find accomodation at the same venue at a competitive price-top value for money, really looking forward to our stay in October.
I had a wonderful night at this bed and breakfast and I would definitely recommend it to a friend in the future :-)
Very easy site to use, lots of lovely pics and information.
Wonderful place. We stayed in the family room which I think would sleep 2 adults, 2 children and a baby if allowed. Kitchen facilities also helped having kids. Super clean which is a big thing for me! Staff fab, breakfast was yummy! Perfect place for trip to peppa pig world. Parents stayed in a room in the house which was perfect for their needs.
Having booked two rooms, I then received an email from the owner to say that only one room was available. We were travelling with another couple so were forced to cancel and try and te book elsewhere. Very frustrating
This accommodation Lord Nelson Liverpool Ltd, is well worth a mention. It's never going to be the most glossy or first thought of place BUT it's biggest selling point is in its value for money; good location and reasonable price for decent rooms, solid service and good location. Pleasantly welcomed on arrival, rooms neat and secure and well catered for. As for Toprooms.com - decent transaction, nothing more or less than should be expected.
Having booked online when I needed to shorten my stay by one day the immediate reaction from the hotel was "you booked online you'll have to get back to them". Totally unacceptable.
Stayed for three days...both of the owners were really nice and very informative about lical things I wanted to visit. ..rooms superb and food very good
Great position in the heart of Chester. I had a single room with on suite. Dated but spotless clean. Friendly owners. Nice breakfast.

Jun 20,2013The picture does not reflect this B&B, not a busy looking on the front as it shows. The owners are extremely friendly and felt very safe as a lone female. Breakfast has a great variety. Clean towels every day, free wifi, tea/coffee in rooms. Close to Exeter centre and owners very helpful with maps etc and knowledge of Exeter. The B&B is being redecorated at the minute but they did apologise for this and didnt impact on my stay.
