Jun 20,2013I had a bad experience prior to arriving at a hotel in Paddington. My credit card details were cloned and used. On arrival I was not given the room I booked, no television. On complaining told the service was the hotels responsibility and not top rooms. The hotel hasn't contacted me, some 4 weeks later to explain this.

Jun 20,2013The room was big with an ensuite bath and separate ensuite loo. The road is a peaceful no through road with mature trees and large detached houses . The breakfast room is quirky with lots of antiques which I liked and the back garden is large and dog friendly.

Jun 20,2013Good facilities, well equipped and clean kitchen with loads of help yourself breakfasts. Quiet midweek when we were there. Well placed for Llangollen town centre.

Jun 20,2013Friendly hosts made you feel welcome straight away, approximately 15 minute walk into town. Breakfast was really good and plentiful. Room facing the sea was lovely. Highly recommend, would definitely book this B&B again.

Jun 20,2013Nice, ressonable guest house in very good location and pleasant staff. Room was comfortable with en-suite but shower wasn't working so had to use shower room on landing - not ideal but managed ok. Breakfast was good - order put in the night before so cooked to order. Would recommend and would use again

Nov 06,2012The photo of 79 Upper St Giles Road apartment shown on Toprooms website is not the place we stayed in! It also didn't have the en suite that it stated. We had no hot water, the boiler had a bowel under to catch the water that leaked out, all the lettering & numbers on the microwave had worn out completely so you couldn't tell if it was on medium, high or defrost & it was dirty. The oven was also dirty to the extent of it setting the smoke alarms off! The freezer didn't look like it had ever been defrosted with red stains where something had spilt. Two of the armchairs were ready for the tip! I couldn't believe why someone would think this was exceptable! I know the apartment is very cheap but the standards were not acceptable. It was the photos on Toprooms website of the apartments that made me book as they looked basic but clean and were of good value. I now feel that the photos on Toprooms website are false advertising! I have taken photos of which I'd be happy to forward on to you.

Nov 03,2012I booked a 6 night stay in the Yorkshire Dales and only paid for 4 nights (3 for 2) The hotel was lovely and booking it through toprooms was easy, will definately use them again

Nov 03,2012This is by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed in, receptionist could barely speak english, no evening meal as booked, room very small, dirty, no towels,soap and broken facilities. Breakfast is served only between 09:00 and 09:30 causing people to queue and rush. Our room 26, the window was insecure and the wind whistled through causing us to not getting any sleep, nobody present in the morning only a tub to leave the room key in. This hotel Golden Beach, Blackpool, should be closed down!
