Will not go back
Very well presented and extremely helpful hosts. We have nothing but good things to say
It was easy to use
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lugo Rock Hotel where they made us feel very welcome. We would recommend it to friends.
very comfortable stay good location
This is a really good hotel/pub ,the room was a very good size with a bathroom with shower/bath and loo.A large flat screen tv on the wall, and tee and coffee making in the room .The full English breakfast was excellent and i didn't need anything else for the rest of the day!!!!!! They had live music on the Saturday night and had a good crowd in to enjoy it. The place is in a good location to get to the lakes and all the other attractions the lake district has to offer. If i go to the lakes again i would stay there again.
Lovely house & gardens. Warm welcome & very friendly. The b&b has a very good location so it's a easy walk into town. Loads of car parking space thru some electrically operated gates. Breakfast was spot on. Would recommend to anyone looking for something special.
Excellent facilities, look out for the beams though! Comfortable bed plus quiet location equals a good nights sleep. Excellent breakfast in comfortable surroundings. Would recommend and stay there again.
The room was over a very very loud bar and one night there was karaoke, which went on to 11.45 pm . We could not sleep and also if we opened the window people smoking outside were also very loud. The room was twin beds and had horrible little wooden shelves over the head of the bed which was the bedside table. There was no wardrobe just coat hangers. The shower was dirty with thick black sludge in the bit where the shower door slides and there was the dirtiest air filter in room. The breakfast was poor, the produce was low quality .There were ice cream scoops of margarine in a bowl and the toast was very thin sliced cheep white bread and no jams offered. The coffee was instant coffee put into a metal pot We were booked for 4 nights but we only stayed 2 and left before the breakfast as I just wanted to get out of the place. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Only booked a few hours before we arrived and our room was ready and waiting! Friendly staff, fantastic breakfast and excellent value for money ...
The actual accommodation was disappointing. The five car parks are not easy to find and when questioned, the landlady said they were full...this was not so. The room was in "the annex" which had a very dreary approach. The room was clean but very drab. The breakfast however was very good. As we were half an hour early we were asked to "go and have a coffee" my husband was ill and I really needed to get him to lie down somewhere. We would have stayed longer if the place had been nicer. We found a wonderful place next day and stayed three days
Stated breakfast on Internet got there breakfast not included part from that nice stay
Tried a few other booking sites and couldn't get through to booking the room I wanted even though they all said they had availability. Went on Toprooms and booked it instantly no problemo !!!
Run down place in a creepy neighborhood. I paid for a single room with my own bathroom and a breakfast. They put me in a room with 3 beds and I had to share a bathroom outside. There was no breakfast included. Overall was it an old and rundown place, I would never go back.
This B & B had the lot Rooms, Breakfast, Meals, Beer Real Ale, Entertainment and a superb Beer Garden. The staff were most obliging and nowts a bother!!! We will return!!!
The B&B was situated 15-20mins walk from Keswick town, Lovely clean and well maintained room. Nice and quiet and have onsite parking at the back of the house. Very friendly B&B host couple, they suggested a few scenic attractions further out from Keswick to explore. These places were definitely worth a drive out to visit. Superbly cooked breakfast! (One of the best I had from B&B for awhile!).
Despite booking on the spur of the moment this was a brilliant choice. Booking was easy as were the arrangements when we arrived. Arranged a time and was met by the owner even though we got their early. Room was lovely and comfortable with a nice shower. Hotel is ideally located, close to everything and the breakfast was very nice. Overall very impressed with the hotel and would highly recommend staying here.
Great place, and warm friendly people
Easy to find, and excellent connection for M1. The room and the breakfast far exceeds other hotels at the same and higher rates. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Jun 20,2013The Long Melford Inn is at the far end of the town's High Street. The setting is pleasant, next to a former railway station and the maltings. No longer a pub, the owners concentrate on B&B. We were inone of three chalets next to the former inn. Insulation was good and we spent a quiet night. The one downside was the mattresses which were uncomfortable with springs digging into flesh. We also found the lock on the main entrance difficult to use - the key had to be in the exactly right place to open it which led to us being rescued by the landlord. Breakfast was tasty, accompanied by a fascinating chat with the owners who are successful inventors, saving babies' lives in hot climates.
