Touch Typing is an essential life skill and we find that children who learn accurately to literally type without looking at their fingers, will save time in producing homework and in exams etc. As experienced Specialist Teachers, we are able to effectively differentiate and individualise touch typing challenges so that all students achieve their potential. Multi-sensory learning, through games and incentives, create a brilliantly fun atmosphere in which children aged 7 upwards, thrive! We have children who want to learn good basic typing skills and those who need this skill in order to type for GCSEs, and A Level exams. Note taking, punctuation skills and real time typing under pressure are also explored with the advanced students. An encouraging, motivating and uplifting environment is created in which children of all learning abilities thrive. We specialise in helping children with dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia and hypermobility as well as for those just want to learn it as a life skill, or for application towards the skill section of the DofE levels. He was thoroughly engaged, happy to go, happy to learn and picked up his touch typing skills fabulously within the week. Delia and Seth are an inspiring and brilliant team who are devoted to the kids they meet over the week. They really care about each child and get to understand very quickly how they work best. They also take the time to talk to you about your child, and respond really quickly to any questions via email once we had finished the course. I wish all learning could be like this!! Aug 01,2022This is a great course. My dyslexic daughter has been encouraged to learn touch typing for years, and finally we got ourselves organised. She is Y7 and was pleased to find she wasn't the oldest there. She found it easy to follow the guidance and made good progress. Touch Typing for Kids has given her a good base from which to keep practicing and build up her speed. She was amused by the lively classes and thrilled with the various prizes she won. I was impressed by the emphasis on accuracy, speed will come in time. Delia and Seth were great teachers and kept me up to date on Phoebe's progress.

They use lots of positive reenforcement with treats for accuracy which definitely motivated my daughter! She made a huge improvement in just one week on the course. I highly recommend!

He understood the frustration of being able to type with two fingers but the huge benefit of going slowly at first but using all his fingers, I think this will help him so much in the future. Thoroughly recommend for anyone.

I will be signing my 10 year old up to the next available course and have been encouraging friends to do the same. It’s a great place to learn a really wonderful skill for life.

Jul 30,2022Thank you Delia and Seth for running this course online. My son (aged 14), who has been struggling at school, was able to stay focused and motivated for the full hour and a half each day. Seth was able to help him and keep him calm when he was starting to struggle and get frustrated. By the end of the 5 days, my son was able to use the keyboard without looking and had increased his speed to 27 words a minute, He is now determined to keep practicing so as to improve his time even further. I hope that he will be able to take this new skill onto the next part of his educational journey.

My 9 year old daughter has been really inspired by them and is already touch typing faster (with 100% accuracy) than she can write by hand.
