Touch Typing is an essential life skill and we find that children who learn accurately to literally type without looking at their fingers, will save time in producing homework and in exams etc. As experienced Specialist Teachers, we are able to effectively differentiate and individualise touch typing challenges so that all students achieve their potential. Multi-sensory learning, through games and incentives, create a brilliantly fun atmosphere in which children aged 7 upwards, thrive! We have children who want to learn good basic typing skills and those who need this skill in order to type for GCSEs, and A Level exams. Note taking, punctuation skills and real time typing under pressure are also explored with the advanced students. An encouraging, motivating and uplifting environment is created in which children of all learning abilities thrive. We specialise in helping children with dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia and hypermobility as well as for those just want to learn it as a life skill, or for application towards the skill section of the DofE levels. Feb 24,2022I did the touch typing course with Delia and Seth, and I highly recommend it. If you had a question or you were stuck, they would be with you in less than 20 seconds. Nessy was the platform we were using to learn how to touch type, and I thought it was terrific. I would definitely do the course again next time, it was so much fun too! Ava (11)

He remained focused and motivated throughout, and his typing speed and accuracy greatly improved in just one week. Seth and Delia were very professional, energetic, clear and engaging and they gave him lots of attention and support, including one-to-one time over Zoom.

Feb 19,2022Me and my brother did this course (well twice now). We are 10 and 11 and we really loved it. It is a really great way to learn and then improve your typing. Delia and Seth make it really fun with prizes and competitions and you even have to type with your eyes closed. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. You learn to type and get sweets. My 17 year old came late to touch typing but found the week's course invaluable in preparation for A levels/degree. Seth and Delia make the week so engaging for kids of all ages. I could not recommend them or this course enough and I will definitely sending my younger kids along to them. Gill

He was so keen to participate in different activities and kept saying the method is so motivating ,fun and engaging. The technical support session was extremely helpful. Jul 31,2021A really fantastic course! Rosie really enjoyed it and was totally engaged throughout. Seth and Delia did a brilliant job teaching the children which I’m sure was all the more of a challenge over zoom! I was especially impressed by how much she learned and got out of the course, especially as she did it each afternoon this week immediately following returning home from her induction week at her new secondary school. I had worried that it would be too much for her this week but apparently not and I’m so pleased she did it!

Jul 30,2021My daughter has just completed a weeks course via zoom. She is dyslexic, and it had been recommended that she learn to touch type. School did not have the resources to teach her so it was left to us. We tried free programmes like BBC bitesize but nothing really stuck and we struggled to get her to practice. Then we we came across touch-typing for kids. They use the Nessy programme which along with individual tuition they are able to guide children of all different abilities through the various levels. They really encourage each child and use prizes that the children can win to keep them motivated and wanting to continue to improve. My daughters confidence has grown throughout the week. I now feel confident that with continuous practice she will be able to touch type which will make such a difference to her at secondary school.

Apr 16,2021I have just had my two boys on the 5 day typing course. Both of them thoroughly enjoyed it and I was surprised to see how much my boys had picked up over the week. Both Seth and Delia keep the energy high and the mood upbeat with plenty of praise. I have two happy boys with (hopefully) the ability to create work online much faster....we will see when school goes back after Easter!

In complete contrast she LOVES touch-typing with Delia and Seth - who make touch-typing accessible, fun, and delivering immediate results. This is now the 2nd holiday where my daughter is sitting at the computer learning - something we could not have dreamed of. Not only that, but she has gone from typing 1 word answers in online homework to typing paragraphs. We genuinely believe this will transform her experience and outcomes at school.
