I got what a went for. Obviously you not going to be super expert within one week, but you get the necessary knowledge and if you enthusiastic enough, you can use this course for your first strong step. If you are new on this field. Like me. (I should mention it, the teacher was great)
Very well organised company who are now owned by city & guilds so that says a lot as to their company prior to this. They are a nationwide company with excellent facilities and superb vetted tutors who have a lot of time for you and always check they are going at the correct speed for you etc. Everything you could need regarding mock papers and extra material for home etc is available. I'd highly advise having a USB pen available as they can offer plenty of digital content. They are certainly a company to consider for your your electrical training. They only specialise in this and so have become pretty much the biggest reputable go to company in the electrical trade. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and I'm using them again very soon for more electrical qualifications. The Leeds branch is superb
The course was full of content our instructor Vince was excellent and getting the facts over and if something didn’t go in first time Vince could put it another way for you to understand. Great learning experience that can only come from an instructor who is patient and has a great knowledge of his subject.
Such a fantastic experience. This was my first time using TS4U and I booked myself on the Solar PV course at Leeds. It was a 5 day course which was thoroughly enjoyable. I usually do not enjoy courses but this one was a pleasure mainly due to the pleasant staff, superb facilities and the best tutor I've had. Garry was extremely knowledgeable and had a great teaching style being very patient and light hearted which was very well received to all on the course. For future courses I wouldn't look elsewhere and cannot recommend it enough. Thanks to all involved.
10/10 experience doing Step 1, exceeded my expectations Chris and John were brilliant.
Amazing service from enquiry to completing the course! Jak was very welcoming when I first made the initial contact, he got me set up on the right course straight away and made it very easy to understand what the procedures are and the next steps were. Once I was inducted and was assigned an assessor, (Richie Welsh), what an amazing guy! He made it so clear on what is required and made a very daunting task look simple! He encouraged me throughout the course and had regular phone calls/emails on what to do next. Overall I’m really happy with the outcome and that I completed my course quicker than I expected. Would highly recommend TS4U anytime!
Was on a 2 day course, the building is fairly new so the premises are in a good state. They have no catering facilities but seacroft centre is a 3 minute drive away. The course itself was done a good but not too quick a pace. I would go here again if given the choice
The tutor Peter was very informative and explained in layman’s terms which was a lot better to digest the learning in the pat testing course, I would highly recommend this company to everyone as a gateway to personal training,5stars
Great teachers who are excited to share their knowledge with you. The course came recommended and did not dissapoint.
I attended the course of The Domestic Electrical in the Gatwick campus. The location is close to Gatwick airport, easy to access by public transport. The course structure is suitable for me, one week for workshop, one week for regulation and others times for E-learning. The teacher is good enough for professional and experienced in electrical trade, such as regulation requirements and “normal daily practices” relationship. He demonstrated the good standard of the electrical works in workshop periods. I recommended to the beginner of electrical, no experience people.
I recently took a BPEC Solar PV course with Trade Skills 4 U at the Gatwick Facility. Generally, it was a top notch experience, and I felt as though I learnt a lot from knowledgeable tutors. That said, there was one minor gripe that really put a bee in my bonnet, which was the mispronunciation of the word 'amorphous'. This sounds awfully petty of me, but there seems to be a cult of tutors to who are pronouncing the aforementioned word as 'amf-err-us', as opposed to 'ay-mor-fuss' – very strange indeed. Jarring mispronunciations aside, I thought the course delivery was great, and all conducted within a clean and modern environment. Feedback for BPEC: the course textbook is out of date, and rather laden with errors, so perhaps something worth addressing.
Thanks so much for your very valuable training. I really enjoyed it, as well as great facilties and good workshop training.
Wasn’t sure how to get familiarised with the learning/exam part to start the road to becoming an electrician - TradeSkills4U genuinely helped me, first with C&G courses appropriate to me then the really knowledgeable and patient tutors gave me confidence to work through all of the coursework - recommended!!
Great tutors Really good in-depth understanding of the course and how to deliver Excellent premises good parking Easy to find
Just did my city & Guilds 2392 at leeds skills4u very happy with all services like tutors are very kind and they did explain in such a way so its easy to understand.
5* training centre . Tutors are 2nd to non and full of help and knowledge, office staff so polite and helpful and friendly , super clean facilities and nice environment .
Brilliant service and good people. Just completed my NVQ level 3 2346 (experienced worker) and the assessor, Richard Welsh has done an amazing job, he was easy to talk to and guilded me through this step by step. He and his team has really gone above and beyond as I needed my certificate early so I could do my next exam in time, so he spoke to his team and boss and got me my e-certificate in 48 hours, just fantastic really top bloke and company.
good tutor. very knowledgeable. told us related stories to help cement the information. a lot of learning to fit in one day, but did pretty well.
Teaching staff and staff in office are great

Dec 03,2022After a questionable start with my first assessor Richie Welsh heard my frustration and kindly offered to take over as my assessor. His enthusiasm and love of what he does is infectious. He’s straight up from the beginning stating that he’ll match your enthusiasm and work ethic, and he did not disappoint one bit. Once he took over my case load I got feedback quickly that was concise with clear objectives and a plan that set me off knowing exactly where I was headed. I’ve met some incredible tutors at trade skills and Richie is right up there with the very best of them. A great way to end my trade skills journey with only the am2 to get now. My recommendation!! choose trade skills, work your ass off and if you’re lucky you’ll get Richie to finish the job with you. Thank you Richie Welsh and all at trade skills 4 u!!
