Nov 04,2017I think the idea is great, but the charges were a little much. Also, I would receive emails even when someone opted to send a paper voucher so the paper voucher in the mail was never a surprise...

Nov 04,2017My husband and I had lived together for 2 years before getting married so we really needed for nothing. This was a perfect way for our family and friends to feel like they were giving us something we really wanted. They loved hearing the stories of our honeymoon and the things they helped pay for.

Nov 04,2017I loved using Traveler’s joy. We opted to use this website instead of a wedding registry. It was very easy to set up. Our guests said it was user friendly to choose a gift or amount to give. I also really enjoyed the fast turn around to get the electronic deposit, with no extra fees involved! Would definetly recommend!

Nov 04,2017Traveler's Joy was perfect for what we wanted for our gift registry. We had moved out of our home to embark on a year of travel, and this website allowed us to tailor our gifts to exactly what we needed. Guests found it easy to use as well. We weren't thrilled about the high % fees on gifts but felt it was worth it nonetheless. Definitely recommend this service!

Oct 31,2017I liked that people could buy you actual gifts or excursions because my family is traditional and doesn't like giving money for a bridal shower. What I didn't like is that it was confusing when trying to set up all the excursions and gifts i received because some of them weren't the specific place i wanted to use. In the end i took the money and it worked out but I would have made out better if i just did a honeyfund i think.

Oct 31,2017Traveler's Joy is the easiest to use. Our guests loved this idea and quickly filled up our registry. We even had to add more things! I love the information Traveler's Joy gives to the guests so it doesn't look like we are just wanting money, but a fun experience. The money was exchanged easily and quickly. One of the best decisions of our wedding.

Oct 30,2017Traveler's Joy was a seamless and fantastic service. We enjoyed a 10-day trip to Maui, HI for our honeymoon, and really appreciated how transparent and easy the process was! From registering to transferring funds, this was an awesome service. Also, wedding guests really enjoyed giving an "experience" vs. a physical item! Definitely would recommend.

I gave it four stars because the fees taken out of the gifts weren't clearly explained when I set up our site - I think that information needs to be presented a little better at the start. My non tech savvy mother also couldn't figure out how to use the site, which isn't terribly surprising, but it might turn off your older relatives.

Oct 30,2017We just were initially looking around the site, and had decided not to use it as a registry. However, the site has some settings where it automatically placed themselves as our registry online, so people started donating money before we had decided to use this company. We were mortified that they had this set up as a default and didn't ask us if we wanted our names published on their website before doing so.
