Jan 24,2025I bought a voucher for a meal for two at a local restaurant . We had a great experience. Obviously there was service and drink expenses in addition to the voucher but I felt we had value for money and would buy the voucher again. I would look to go to the restaurant even without a voucher

Jan 24,2025Booked a two night stay at the Mill Hotel, 16-18 January 2025. We were allocated a room in the Annex over the road from the main hotel building but were offered a room in the main hotel building for an extra £20 per night - which we declined. On the first morning of our stay we informed the receptionist that the bathroom window (faced onto the car park) was not fitted with a blind. We also mentioned that the fire exit details fixed to our room (501) door were incorrect. Neither of these two issues were actioned upon during our stay. We had the impression that Travelzoo guests were given inferior rooms - this is totally unacceptable. David Ellis

Jan 23,2025The food was different though very bread heavy. The only meat at all was a battered sliver of pheasant breast. At a little over £70 each I would say not worth it. All made a bit worse by the restaurants standard charge for the 5 course menu was £39 and Travelzoo’s voucher was £45!
